(Apologies if the link isn't clicky, not done this before!)

Has anyone been before? I'd not heard of FiLiA before but what I'm reading looks pretty promising!

There are a few hangovers in the room @Lippysoutherner

Lippysoutherner · 20/10/2019 12:49

Is that you, Radical?

getupgonow · 20/10/2019 11:27

Meeting lots of mumsnetters while wearing my T-shirt!

Lippysoutherner · 20/10/2019 11:09

Am also here. I'm the one with the hangover. Smile

Companion42 · 20/10/2019 10:52

Thanks Charlie I'll keep my eyes peeled

CharlieParley · 20/10/2019 09:52

I'll look out for you Companion42. My hair is short and red, blue glasses, wearing a black top with a royal blue cardigan and a For Women Scotland badge. If you see me and feel brave enough, feel free to say hi.

I'll be there in about ten minutes.

Companion42 · 20/10/2019 09:18

I'd love to meet some mumsnetters ifanyone is around for day two as I'm on my own. I'm in a red top, black dungaree dress with badges and leggings. Short hair and glasses. I'm autistic so not very good at the making friends thing ! 😁

HerFemaleness · 20/10/2019 08:27

I saw a picture of 4 protestors outside, 2 men and 2 women. I didnt see them but didn't leave the hotel much yesterday.

TerfTalk · 20/10/2019 01:23

There was a somewhat impromptu open-mic night that was amazing! A really diverse mix of poetry, comedy, music, and more.

The protestors made zero impact. There was about 5 of them with a "support your sisters not just your cis-ters " banner. They left after an hour or so. They were honestly the least exciting thing of the day.

TheClitterati · 20/10/2019 00:39

Well that was an amazing day. Incredible panels, provocative art, inspiring women, harrowing at times talk, poignant moving memorial march and service, and then dancing for hours with wall to wall women.

Best day.

Cuntysnark · 20/10/2019 00:30

I’ve got a ‘radicalised by mumsnet’ sticker on me, not quite as obvious as a t shirt but keep your eyes peeled!

getupgonow · 19/10/2019 23:29

I'm wearing mine tomorrow 😀

Verily1 · 19/10/2019 19:25

Someone had a ‘radicalised by mumsnet’ t-shirt!

getupgonow · 19/10/2019 18:57

I'm having a great time - good to see the "protesters" were few and far between Smile. I'm going out for a curry now #wheninbradford

FiLiA conference 2019 anyone going?
TerfTalk · 19/10/2019 10:50

The opening is brilliant Smile

Verily1 · 19/10/2019 05:29

Was good to see a few MNers in the bar last night!

witchesaremysisters · 19/10/2019 00:27

Terfing
I think Julie Bindel is on the surrogacy panel:

Terfing · 18/10/2019 23:02

Does anyone know which talks Julie Bindel is speaking at? The programme layout is a bit confusing.

LauraMipsum · 18/10/2019 22:05

One person made a crap attempt at encouraging a protest and then promptly deleted the tweet. I don't think it got any traction and I've not seen anything else, so I'd be surprised if there were any.

Databreachnamechanger · 18/10/2019 19:28

Not seen anything re protests. Sorry it's a worry. Happy to come out and walk you in in the morning if anything looks hairy. I have arrived in Bradford! Any takers for a wee sherry? Meeting up with at least one other mumsnetter tonight

whoami24601 · 18/10/2019 17:50

I'm going! Not travelling as I live a short drive from Bradford. Which means I won't be at the evening do 😔 has anyone heard anything about protests? I saw a screenshot on twitter today and am a bit worried as I'll be bringing my children with me

WomanDaresTo · 18/10/2019 17:26

late to this but I'm going! Travelling early tomorrow - doing a bit on wecantconsenttothis.uk at the 1:30-3pm Femicide slot with Karen Ingala Smith + others

Am fully going to the evening disco.
