All you had to do was say I'm firmly in the camp of counting fully-transitioned transsexuals as women and my only objection is self-ID. So I support Debbie and people like Debbie in women's spaces.

See? Easy.

Instead, you barged in, said your view was the only acceptable one and said that everyone was invalidating an identity that even Debbie does not profess to having. On challenge, you proceeded to decry anonymous user names despite having name changed to post yourself.

You don't get to frame our conversations. You don't get not to be disagreed with. And we don't have to chant TWAW because you and Helen Lewis believe it.

I came into this thread because of people cornering Debbie about her bathroom choice which I think is shit and a pointless exercise, and an easy target because she is engaged.

Eershkigal I've been involved in the debate for about two years. I've listened and changed my views on it subtly from time to time accordingly. You on the other hand have not listened to my opinion - you have as a small group behaved in a really crap way and I bet you anything you wouldn't say it to my face.

Interesting that you're choosing to add to the "toxic debate". Strange, as you don't seem to want women to speak about matters other than very narrowly framed "self ID". This thread has laid out the reasons that some of us disagree with you. Why not listen?

This was the case there, the girls used to block the hole with tissue paper but had to do this repeatedly.

But this doesn't happen - men/boys making peepholes to spy on women and girls /s.

And anyway, women don't have the right to draw the line where they see fit (thx Hannah even tho she used the C.. word :( )
