Dear plague spreading sisters!

Look! Here's another new thing for people to be. Yep. Vagphobic.

From the twitter feed Vagphobia is mainly suffered by gay men who have a weird sexual desire towards other people with penises.

Although I suppose females could be Vagphobic too although.
ARRGHHH what is that in my pants.

Putting all the 'making up new words' aside, I too feel sorry for them, underneath all this seems to be a person who still hasn't found what they think they were looking for. Transitioning hasn't resolved issues they had they are still there.

It feels like nothing has changed sometimes. You have a vagina you get treated like garbage

I agree, so close, but just outside their grasp. 'If I were a boy then everything would be great' But it isn't, you can't escape your biology, the issues you have will still be there. You need to resolve those issues first. It is a travesty that appropriate support is seen as such an evil and it is affirmation all the way.

SirVixofVixHall · 26/11/2018 21:53

NotANotMan..”all the eye rolls”. 😁
Quite.
Also the weirdness of feeling entitled to have people fancy you at all really.

nauticant · 26/11/2018 21:50

I wonder if they have considered trying heterosexual men again and seeing how it goes?

Having heterosexual sex would not be validating. It would be at odds with their gender identity.

So much of this stuff looks indistinguishable from mental illness.

Ereshkigal · 26/11/2018 21:42

It's not a good look.

It's quite a telling look.

Annandale · 26/11/2018 21:41

I do feel sorry for them, it's awful but as a menopausal woman completely normal not being fancied by people you fancy.

But I did have to examine the tweet with a furrowed brow for some time. I wonder if they have considered trying heterosexual men again and seeing how it goes? You know, just encountering people in a non-heterophobic kind of way?

OlennasWimple · 26/11/2018 21:40

Newsflash - gay men like dick

NotANotMan · 26/11/2018 21:38

Heterosexual female gets the sads because homosexual males don't want to fuck her

All the eyerolls

Chardeemacdennis1 · 26/11/2018 21:37

The way it's worded it sounds like he wasn't aware that gay men would not want to have sex with a vagina until he tried dating.

I think people need to be more honest with trans young people. In the real world most people like to date people who's genitals match their gender presentation. If you like the opposite sex, your probably best off sticking with your bio gender. Especially women, I can see many men liking men thar look like men but have vaginas, that is a very small target market.

donquixotedelamancha · 26/11/2018 21:35

Maybe you should point your vag in Doctor Haddock’s direction. He’s very big on demanding gay people women be open to the genitalia of the opposite sex

Fixed that for you. He's very respectful when disagreeing with gay blokes.

explodingkitten · 26/11/2018 21:33

If it doesn't matter if you have a vagina or penis, because it apparantly doesn't matter for your gender, why doesn't she sleep with other transmen then?

nauticant · 26/11/2018 21:30

In their own words:

"genital preference is not transphobic", I kind of want to scream eternally into the night. Because that's the most common form of transphobia I personally encounter as a gay trans masculine person.

Boys are all over me until they find out I have a vagina.
Then it's suddenly weird and uncomfortable because they want something I don't have. Boys have left me over this.

They're a woman who thinks they're a man, and a gay man at that, who is angry at (real) gay men for not wanting to have a sexual relationship with them (as a woman).

I suppose one positive is that we've found a woman doing this cotton ceiling shit.

SleightOfMind · 26/11/2018 21:28

Genuinely staggered.
Is it only gay men who are vagphobic or am I, a straight woman who is fond of my own vag but not sexually attracted to vags generally, vagphobic too?

The mental contortions are dizzying.

ChewyLouie · 26/11/2018 21:27

Ah have they got transloop too ? When people mean to say “Help I’m stuck in a transloop and can’t get out” but give up and shout “transphobe “ instead.

Katvonblackdeath · 26/11/2018 21:24

*transman so they'll

Sorry

OP posts:
Katvonblackdeath · 26/11/2018 21:23

And you really really can't help what you're attracted to. I love women far more than men but I just don't fancy them. I almost wish I did but I don't. It's hardwired in us all.
This narrative of theirs is homophobic. It makes me so cross.

Obviously this is a tranman so it'll just get ignored but I wish the gay guys would wake up to this bullshit too. I think they might be starting but come on boys!

AngryAttackKittens · 26/11/2018 21:19

Sorry to break it to you, Aspie, but Tumblr was at least a year ahead of you there.

AngryAttackKittens · 26/11/2018 21:18

Genitals are important in choosing a sexual partner because we use them to fuck with. This is not difficult to understand!

AspieAndProud · 26/11/2018 21:11

I’ve just made up a word (well, everyone else does these days)

Trans-cel: Involuntarily celebate due to transition.

NotMeOhNo · 26/11/2018 21:06

What's also tooth-grindingly stupid is a lack of a vowel in the middle of that made up word.

BubonicBudgie · 26/11/2018 21:03

Maybe LOJ will oblige

TalkingintheDark · 26/11/2018 20:56

That young person is soooo close to a lightbulb moment, but it's just out of their grasp..
😂😂😂

Maybe you should point your vag in Doctor Haddock’s direction. He’s very big on demanding gay people be open to the genitalia of the opposite sex so he can’t possibly turn you down.

You know, I’m QUITE sure that if only our own dear doctor weren’t already happily married, he would LOVE to demonstrate just how deeply he really believes that “trans men are men”. Of course he would. It’s not like he likes making fish jokes, is it?

FermatsTheorem · 26/11/2018 20:56

It's the sense of entitlement which makes me think something odd is going on here.

Many years ago, I had a really close friend wrestling with gender dysphoria and trying to decide whether they were a transman or not. Many, many late night sessions with a bottle of wine and a pizza trying to get to the bottom of it. And I could see how sex was a massive massive problem for them - because the very secondary sexual characteristics that turned their girlfriend on (they were in a lesbian relationship) were the ones they felt most dysphoric about. It was a mind fuck of epic proportions for them.

This situation is totally the reverse of that - no hint of dysphoria, just a massive hissy fit that gay men don't accept that this person's vag is a "gentleman vag" and thus totes acceptable, nay, desirable, in the context of a gay male relationship.

Lacypants · 26/11/2018 20:50

Almost as if.... Genitals indicate sex and sex is.... IMPORTANT Shock

HamiltonCork · 26/11/2018 20:49

I honestly can’t understand the mindset of someone like this. What did they honestly think would happen once they transitioned? That gay men would be falling at their feet? Unbelievable sense of entitlement or just utterly delusional.

Voice0fReason · 26/11/2018 20:47

It's insane - they can't even see how insane they are being.
Genitals matter, along with the rest of the body. We're allowed to be as picky as we want about this.
