Even aside from threats made to the individuals, from the tweets I read the talk might meet the threshold for inciting violence, though I am not a lawyer! I think it should be reported to the police with the audio. It would be south Yorkshire police for Sheffield. How frightening for Jean & Sidekick. Such obvious escalation in the TRA's aggression. What amazes me -well not really- is how propaganda and cult like these meetings come across. I'm really curious to hear whatever recording was made. I hope the media do pick it up.

Honestly Jean is amazing, frankly that adjective is inadequate, I truly am lost for words (a rarity for me) to express my admiration .

Looking at her updates as she's going through the recording and quoting snippets is remarkable. To some extent, the rhetoric of violence and re-fashioning of science and history is in line with what we might expect but some of the other comments are startling me:

It would be good if some #manbox type men felt that they might go along and attend these meetings and report back on what they're picking up about toxic patriarchy and masculinity.

I didn't think it was possible to respect that woman any more than I do.

I am tempted to ring venues hosting events like this and ask if these people are having a meeting there, then to politely wish them a pleasant meeting.
