Young Madigan on Twitter again (sorry) - a question

“my campaigns for women’s services” - this would presumably be in the short spell LM was WO at Rochester & Strood. What campaigns? Which women’s services?

And “let alone the rest”? Rest of what?

Now “not all tweets by Lily”, are they allowed to just make stuff up with no comebacks?

And talking of work, it's revealing how Madigan seems never, ever to have had a job.

By the age of 21 most of us have worked, from a Saturday job through to a part-time or full-time employment.

But Madigan seems never to have worked. They plead poverty, and beg for money via PayPal. They go to bars and beg people to buy them drinks. And they beg for clothes.

But an actual job seems never to have occurred to them. If they fear discrimination or "transphobia", why not get a bar job in a gay bar or something. But no. Nothing. Ever.

Ereshkigal · 18/11/2018 19:36

God, the Labour Party used to fight for the rights of low paid workers. Imagine what Keir Hardie would make of this. Owen Jones' cat is called Keir. That's about the height of the connection these days.

Agree. The idea of Madigan or Jones as compassionate and socialist is ludicrous.

HamiltonCork · 18/11/2018 19:31

This is Lily Madigan. The whole things probably been made up.

Gileswithachainsaw · 18/11/2018 19:18

I don't think they bothered. Cos how would they keep plugging the course about how badly trans people are treated, how hard it all is, how spouses can veto it etc of they had one.

I don't think they ever intend on altering themselves. At all.

R0wantrees · 18/11/2018 18:58

Just change the announcement to “Ladies, gentlemen and those who are pretending not to know which they are”. Everyone will be happy with that, yeah?

This one perplexed me as Aimee Challenor had obviously chosen to use the title 'Miss' (as Lily Madigan does) so one could imagine that AC might like the 'ladies' part of the announcement.

I'm sure AC will have said at they time they were standing up for their non-binary family (who are real and valid) but the link between AC's complaint and the outcome seemed curious.

dillydallyXX · 18/11/2018 18:57

Madigan does have a passport though - they started tweeting about it saying "je suis une femme".

They said they have a GRC, then said they didn't. (This was around the time they were saying that they could get pregnant and wanted to be a mother. When they were talking about a womb transplant. When they were saying they wanted "a little gal" one day.

I guess because you need a full mental-health check-up before a GRC is issued is the reason either Madigan hasn't bothered to apply or they got rejected. Who knows.

Wrathofjurgenklop · 18/11/2018 18:46

People aren't psychic
Exactly, they're not mind readers.

As Rain said, it goes like this:

Ooh you have a high voice.
Actually I'm trans.

Ooh you sound like a girl.
Actually I'm a trans.

Oh I thought you was a man.
Actually I'm a trans.

If it is happening at school, it is not bullying.
It's what happens when differences occur.
Clothes, ears, spots, height, weight, you name it.

It passes.
It's part of growing up.

You grow up and mature.

Most of us do, eventually.

GiantKitten · 18/11/2018 18:43

“Then they told me they aren’t the only one suspicious”

Sure they did, Lily 🙄

Lm would hate our local post office. You have to official photograph ID such as a passport (which I believe LM doesn't have) or a driving licence in order to pick up a parcel. They're very strict. I asked once what would be acceptable if you had neither and they said a birth certificate. Grin

RaininSummer · 18/11/2018 18:01

Surely the simple response to people assuming you are male or female when you think you are not, is just to correct them. In the case of Aimee above, Aimee would reply that they don't sound like a 'miss' because they are trans and LM would say yes but I am trans. Simples. No fun if you want to cause trouble and sue people though is it?

DisrespectfulAdultFemale · 18/11/2018 18:01

"Campaigns for women's services" = sue people / get them sacked if they offend me.

Gileswithachainsaw · 18/11/2018 17:52

Any one else wondering if the real problem was that they actually had no ID?

This grc they seen to one minute claim they have them don't have but apparently sent off to get a passport which they afforded shortly after claiming they couldn't even buy milk?

dillydallyXX · 18/11/2018 17:50

It's just so unfair and rude. For all we know, this parcel guy might be a really sweet, older, sensitive guy - might even be caring for his wife or have things in his personal life to worry about. We don't know. And he is going to be subjected to a complaint and accusations of "transphobia".

Madigan is utter poison, in my view.

Midnight21 · 18/11/2018 17:44

People should not automatically be castigated like this.People arsn'tpsychic. If the person infront of them looks like a man & they assume they are so what? Seems ridiculous. Why do this to a person who is probably not well paid, may be supporting a faimily etc.?It's disgusting & can really have a detrimental effect on peoples lives.Spoilt little brats can't control what people think. If they see a man & say so.Tough luck.Should grow up frankly

R0wantrees · 18/11/2018 17:38

Very similar to Aimee Challenor's very successful public complaint December 2016. Reported in Evening Standard:
'Mayor Sadiq Khan looks to scrap the words 'ladies and gentlemen' from transport announcements
The Mayor was asked to take action after a transgender woman was ridiculed by transport staff
(extract)
"London Mayor Sadiq Khan is looking to scrap “ladies and gentlemen” from bus and Tube announcements after a transgender woman claims she was ridiculed by transport staff.

Aimee Challenor, 19, was on the phone to Transport for London’s Oyster helpline when she was told she “didn’t sound like a Miss”.

The gaffe sparked an outcry from the Green Party – who Ms Challenor works for as a spokesperson – who called for the Mayor of London to apologise.

Ms Challenor said she was "in shock" and didn't know how to respond following the comment.

Sadiq Khan apologised for the “inappropriate” remark and said TfL would investigate as well as promising to take action to boost transgender awareness."

July 2017
'Transport for London scraps 'ladies and gentlemen' from Tube tannoy announcements in gender-neutral move
'The term 'ladies and gentlemen' is polite but really belongs to yesterday', say campaigners'

Wrathofjurgenklop · 18/11/2018 16:46

The tweets show Lily exhibits an aggressive attitude towards the people who are just doing a job.

Way too sensitive.

Over the top, ridiculous and childish.

PutYourShirtOnMartin · 18/11/2018 16:33

I think the person might be one of the porters. My DD was at Goldsmiths( not recently) and I remember they sorted out parcels and other post.
DD was over 200 miles away from home and we felt happier knowing the porters were around - they played a big part in keeping the area safe.
But lily doesn't want anyone to feel safe and secure
Their MO is to keep people vulnerable and scared to they can manipulate people into doing what LM wants.

Purpleartichoke · 18/11/2018 16:24

Yep. Either a person trying to eke our a living or a student who has to squeeze in low paid hours between classes and studying just so they can stay in school. Funny that LM doesn’t appear to be in that position despite the PayPal link.

dillydallyXX · 18/11/2018 15:53

So this poor guy in the mail room is just doing his job - making sure the parcels go to the correct people - and in the next few days is going to have a complaint made against him and hauled over the coals. All because of the self-declared "agitator" and "radical" looking for their next victim.

Gileswithachainsaw · 18/11/2018 15:48

Anyway, now Madigan's Mob are saying the parcel person is transphobic and needs re-education

Except I would put money on them calling them mate or sir when serving them in a pub where you end up in auto pilot and don't really look at the person.

If they spoke to them on the phone either they'd assume they were a bloke

Not one of them would really see them as a women if it came to it.

dillydallyXX · 18/11/2018 15:42

Yes, it was G.A.Y in Soho. And Madigan tried to start a campaign against the bouncer. It quickly evaporated, however, when people legitimately asked Madigan how they knew the bouncer was a man or woman. Perhaps they self-identified. Grin

Anyway, now Madigan's Mob are saying the parcel person is transphobic and needs re-education.

Gileswithachainsaw · 18/11/2018 15:37

I bet that LM rocked up to the postroom on Saturday morning in jeans, and unshaven and in no way attempted to 'pass

They don't pass in a dress either. They seem to enjoy seeking out situations where its going to cause issues. Last time it was a gay bar and a bouncer search. And working up their minions into a frenzy over some perceived Injustice Hmm
