I love Alison Steadman, but the writing's so bad all the lines fall flat. I remember her saying something like 'but I thought you liked your job as a learning assistant' as a nice example of how not to write a script in the first episode.

I told a poet her poem sounded that way too the other day. She was describing a girl taking skin off a selkie or some sh*te. It's for lgbt kiddies, not out yet, the art is still being done for the book.
