It's on Twitter.

Thankfully the police in the location they have described their friend with the details of this assault are looking into it

I think young nella may have made a bed they really do not want to lie in now...

As every single woman knows, the act of showing your private parts at knife point NEVER de-escalates or brings to an end a situation (?!?!?!) or somehow allows you to gain the power. Quite the reverse in fact

Yeah. It sounds a little like a misogynist's masturbatory fantasy to me.

Juells · 24/10/2018 13:45

It's such horseshit. All you can do is laugh at morons who think women will believe that another woman willingly displayed her private parts to an angry drunk.

The blaming of women for the actions of a (mythical) drunk angry man is the cherry on top.

selfidentifyinggiraffe · 24/10/2018 13:42

I'm livid for the quite possibly imaginary friend that they're being forced into reporting this

OP posts:
selfidentifyinggiraffe · 24/10/2018 13:41

Alledged victim has muted and doesn't wish to report apparently.

Just supposing they are real and this did happen and the word vagina is in fact referring to the general area

Why the fuck does this prick think blasting it over Twitter was appropriate or fair to the victim? Even if a friend told me they were happy... As a woman and human being when I forget I self identify as a giraffe I would never have such a lack of empathy as to do this when it has JUST happened

And as for choosing a library to sit in whilst shaking with rage?! All just odd.

deepwatersolo · 24/10/2018 13:39

I have never literally shaken with rage in my life. Has this ever happened to anyone?

Nah. Maybe a male thing. Which would be one reason more not to let them in our spaces. Wink

tellmewhenthespaceshiplands · 24/10/2018 13:37

Sorry OP to clarify I don't believe what that delightfully articulate person said happened, not aimed at you 😊

WellThisIsShit · 24/10/2018 13:37

What? That’s so... odd! I really feel for the woman if it actually happened, she must have felt so utterly vulnerable, and terrified.

As every single woman knows, the act of showing your private parts at knife point NEVER de-escalates or brings to an end a situation (?!?!?!) or somehow allows you to gain the power. Quite the reverse in fact.

It’s a Very Unusual Incident indeed. The MAN that perpetrated that violence has a very unusual MO.

tellmewhenthespaceshiplands · 24/10/2018 13:36

Just. Wow. I am also of the Don't Believe It camp.

KatVonGulag · 24/10/2018 13:30

Plus. "I hope they've got some cute animals to snuggle "

Just seems an odd thing to say about a sexual assault. Weird children.

The op is getting a hammering in the comments

Clearly written by someone who has NO IDEA what it feels like to be an actual woman where the scenario described is one's worst nightmare. It's offensive and dismissive of women's legitimate fears of actual, scarring and life-changing experiences of men's violence towards them.

AngryAttackKittens · 24/10/2018 13:25

"Incredibly naive contortionist scares off armed attacker with unpredictable and entirely non-female-socializes behavior"?

Of all the things that might occur to me when confronted with an angry man with a knife I can't say "show him my fanjo" would have been at the top of the list.

Germaine Bunbury advises "kick him in the nads if you can, then run" as a more practical self defense tactic.

I think I’m going to have to go to yoga or I’ll never be able to prove my sex to any threatening men, wanting to see my vagina. ☹️ Though at 50, I’m not sure if my back is up to it.

deepwatersolo · 24/10/2018 13:22

The idea of women being able to get away from violent men by showing their vagina leaves me speechless and a teeny bid giggly.

Hands up how many women here would consider that a good idea...

It would certainly go against my instincts...

JaneJeffer · 24/10/2018 13:21

I don't understand any of that Confused

MagicMix · 24/10/2018 13:21

I'd believe that a violent man would force a woman to undress at knife point.

I would find it very hard to believe that he had done so because he had been so influenced by radical feminists.

I wouldn't believe for a second that a woman would spontaneously undress in front of a knife wielding drunk man as some kind of defence tactic.

KatVonGulag · 24/10/2018 13:21

I felt bad
But I did think it was odd

hackmum · 24/10/2018 13:20

One assumes that the TRA uses "vagina" to refer to the general pubic area. It's still nuts, of course, because there is no woman on the face of this planet who, when confronted by a man wielding a knife, would remove her underwear so he could see her genitals. It does illustrate how little these men understand about women.

Badgerthebodger · 24/10/2018 13:19

Juells

Show me your vagina! Oh alright then, just to calm you down

GrinGrinGrin arf

AspieAndProud · 24/10/2018 13:18

It seems like the sort of story which could only be believed by people with a vague grasp of female anatomy and even less of female psychology.
