What would you call it when a man defines himself as a woman to be locked up with women and sexually assault them? They couldn't escape from him. Sounds pretty much like they were being hunted. One is too many.

If you say you are a feminist, start acting like one. If you see your child as a woman then protect them. Can you tell the dangerous men from the not dangerous ones?

What about the violent men who turn up at women's meetings to hurl abuse, threaten and try to stop them going ahead - are they 'dangerous men'? Some say they are women through. Who can judge if they really think they are - because biologically they are not.

At what point should a male born person be known as a woman? What should they have to do in order to have this happen? Should they try to look like a woman at least? Can a woman have a penis - should a woman have a big shaggy beard (yes I know you get some hairy women but they do tend to avoid the grizzly adams look)?

And freedom - whose freedom? To do what exactly and why? What is the motivation?

If you know this area so well - please explain how a male bodied person, who has no intention to take drugs or have surgery - or even have a shave, can ask to be called a woman?

We are talking about a WOMAN who was harassed in the street by a MAN. Her friend then posted details of what happened to her on twitter, saying it was because she looks a bit masculine and he MIGHT have thought she was trans. Her friend blamed women for inciting hate against trans people.

Are you not scared for yourself and your kids should the rules change so that any man could enter a 'female' space and not be challenged.

Do you or your kids want to be placed in a situation where you feel that you can't object to a male presence - you must have read the new - there are some men just taking the piss and their argument is exactly the same 'I self id as a woman'.

Trans women who have been murdered (for whatever reason) - was this by men or women? If you have self ID then someone who has legally transitioned is in danger too surely? Ever had to hide on the ladies loos because some creep was following you? If a man tried to follow you could scream blue murder and he would be challenged. For a trans woman who looks like the lovely Bearded Daniel then I have no idea how that would work (as I don't understand how someone with a beard can say that they are a woman anyway).

Why aren't you angry with the Karen Whites of this world or the people who assessed them (see we can't even say h* these days) as suitable to go to a woman jail?

I don't think a man harassing people in the street has anything to do with trans people. That is my point. Why are so many posters here talking about men dressed as women harassing girls. It's a myth you want to propagate.

I’ve lost the thread of reasoning that leads to the conclusion. Often I can follow the arguments and understand what they are, even if I disagree with the premise and think they’re wrong, but I can’t see how to get to here, even with skewed logic.
