Where to even start

Appeared in my timeline, a friend is trans, but not medically transitioning-and sort of only part time living as a woman.
We have not discussed this issue-they Have no idea on my standpoint at the moment.

Are you planning to respond or just let it pass you by? Guess it depends on many factors.

My initial response is that if loos are as safe as all that then why can't men who identify as women use the gents?

As he says, there are already laws against assault. Why should men in dresses worry when any attack can be reported to the police?

There are other things I might say, but that's where I'd start.

So, to clarify, he thinks that it is impossible to assault a woman in a women's toilet, but it is very easy to assault a trans person in a men's toilet? How does that work?
