Oh India!
I watched Celebrity Big Brother, as you snarled and snapped! I'm really struggling to see you as a sweet and innocent cartoon deer. No matter how scary Jenni M is.

I think India was pointing out they’re not weak and whiny over reactors like other women who were making a fuss about their sexual harrasment and assaults.

AngryAttackKittens · 17/10/2018 00:49

So India enjoys being sexually harassed by people in power? Lovely. I however do not, nor do most women.

Sorry, India, majority rules on this one.

Badmoonsarising · 17/10/2018 00:47

India often comes across as some what blokey with some sexist views as in the “evil feminazi” vein and here with their sarcastic comment on women complaining about harrasment during the metoo explosion.

Depends if IW said "I was like Bambi" or "I was, like, Bambi"

Surely it's a simile not a metaphor?

JellySlice · 16/10/2018 22:21

Or maybe even "How...?"

(Perhaps a bit too much Wine)

JellySlice · 16/10/2018 22:20

Who? "Why...?" of course.

JellySlice · 16/10/2018 22:20

*She says "I was like Bambi" using it as a metaphor.

She's not saying she's like that woman who famously believes she's a cat and walks on all fours.*

Who is it any different? IW is what ever IW says they are. It works for one species - why are you being speciesist?

KatVonGulag · 16/10/2018 21:45

Who was that guy who acted as a cat on CBB? The MP... George?

Those were the days

AngryAttackKittens · 16/10/2018 21:10

So India is now trans-aged too?

LuggsaysNotaWomen · 16/10/2018 20:53

India is a real Women. The penetrating kind.

newtlover · 16/10/2018 17:03

Not sure how old India is but I'd love to know where India was when the NF were on the streets threatening people and when (the real) section 28 was passed. Because I know where I was, along with all the GC people who are with me now.

LangCleg · 16/10/2018 16:33

I identify as Cruella de Ville and I eat Bambi(s) for breakfast.

YetAnotherSpartacus · 16/10/2018 16:25

Shame womeans hour was not peak transdermal by dirty hairy legs gate!

KatVonGulag · 16/10/2018 16:03

India really is something else. When a bunch of women prefer Anne Widecombe to you Bambi, you might want to think about how you treat them.

Very much Grin at Bambi being a stag.

'"I am a real woman, so I am going to say that again so it penetrates"'

I am finding it really hard to imagine Bambi saying that.

oooompa · 16/10/2018 15:59

Please please please can someone point out Bambi's sex on her twitter status? Grin

SomeEnchantedEaring · 16/10/2018 15:40

India has done some good. It was India's interview with Jenni Murray that first brought me to Mumsnet and made me aware of what was going on!

R0wantrees · 16/10/2018 15:31

India Willoughby.
"I am a real woman, so I am going to say that again so it penetrates"

LizzieSiddal · 16/10/2018 15:25

I’d just like to thank India. It was that interview which made me start taking this whole debate very seriously. IW peak transed me.

pennydrew · 16/10/2018 15:23

“I feel really sorry for guys this year – I think they’ve had it really tough”.

That is everything you need to know about India. What a horribly sexist person. Yuck.

R0wantrees · 16/10/2018 15:23

India is a hypocrite and their reputation in the trans community is less than zero.

Yet India continues to be given a great deal of influence and scope to share IW's opinions without any sort of challenge on ITV.
