So we're all bigots for daring to have a problem with male rapists being allowed in prisons. Don't these idiots realise that self ID is a sexual predators dream and so open to abuse?

It's pure misogyny that our safety is less important than mens feelings.

Somewhere at the back of my bookcase I still have a copy of 'The Establishment.' I know, I know but hear me out. What I really do think is a bit sad is that in those days (at least this is how I remember it) Owen Jones didn't patronise or name-call or block people who disagreed with him - he went out and talked to them instead. He seemed genuinely interested in hearing opposing points of view.

It was one of the things that impressed me about the book. What the hell happened?

See, this is the thing. The issues with self ID are so glaringly obvious, so in your face apparent, that anyone who doesn't have a problem with the GRA proposals must either not understand them, or understand them perfectly well but not give a shit about the impact they will have on women.

I wonder which one Owen is?

Oh, I thought he had realised it was he on the wrong side of history given he has stopped bleating on about it and I am sure a few members said he had deleted a few of his trans posts too.

Also my twitter profile appears to only talk about trans stuff. But thats because if I put anything on my own, I get death threats and that so an anon profile is safer.

All these random injustices happening to people who can’t go to school when they have a period, people sent to prison because they failed a ‘virginity test’, people having their genitals mutilated, people forced into pregnancy, people controlled by their bigger, stronger relatives and apparently nobody can quite put their finger on what they have in common.
