Does anyone have any idea what this is about?

"Thick or just coward?" seems to be the question of the moment.

HamiltonCork · 15/10/2018 05:08

Have we ever had such a woeful crop of MPs? They all seem to be as thick as mince.

LassWiADelicateAir · 15/10/2018 01:04

I thought she was kicked out of/ resigned that role in 2017 for comments about grooming gangs (which were tbh some of her better moments) and the equally dim, but monumental Corbyn sycophant, Dawn Butler holds it.

theOtherPamAyres · 15/10/2018 01:00

Exhibit A - the gullible law-maker.

This is what you get when an MP relies on transgender lobbyists with an agenda, for their information.

This is what Kathleen Stock's speech to peers in the House of Lords was about - the reliance on quack science, without fact checking or some diligence over the credentials of advisers.

I mean, it's not batshittery about something important like protecting children from harm, or safeguarding, or ruining lives......oh hang on: Yes it is.

Resign, Sarah Champion. You are dangerous.

Imnobody4 · 15/10/2018 01:00

I'm starting to think parliament is made up of idiots and cowards. We're doomed.

theOtherPamAyres · 15/10/2018 00:00

Sarah Champion was appointed to the Women & Equalities Parliamentary Committee in June 2018.

Her tweets fill me with confidence that she's the right person to be making sense of the consultation. Not.

And as for being the Shadow Women & Equalities shadow minister - I'm sure she'll do a great job of advising Jezza on Labour party's policies in this area. Not.

LassWiADelicateAir · 14/10/2018 23:47

Does Sarah Champion have children?

I'm gobsmacked that anyone can be this stupid.

Can she delete that tweet? Several replies have helpfully pointed out how thick it makes her look.

Redshoeblueshoe · 14/10/2018 23:41

Good grief
I hadn't realised that our MP' s were so fucking stupid

Iused2BanOptimist · 14/10/2018 23:41

Indeed Lass. Who told the Queen I wonder?

LassWiADelicateAir · 14/10/2018 23:33

All Royals know how apparently and The Queen passes on the secret!

Clearly Queen Mary failed her in regal mother-in law duty to pass the information on to Elizabeth Bowes-Lyon.

Tweet from Jan

Trousered · 14/10/2018 23:25

She's an MP in Rotherham. Honestly, you really don't have any confidence that women and girls have got a fucking chance when this is the standard of leadership.

LangCleg · 14/10/2018 23:23

Thick as mince.

Mind when Charles and Di married my mother assured me The Queen would have told her how to make sure she had a boy first. All Royals know how apparently and The Queen passes on the secret!
I had heard it recommended that a certain position giving deeper penetration was advised for boys due to male sperm being poorer swimmers.
So I shut Mum up by saying "Don't be ridiculous. She won't spend her honeymoon doing it doggy style" ShockGrinGrinGrin

FloralBunting · 14/10/2018 23:19

Was this choice of drugs a small bottle labelled 'Drink me'? Or a cake labelled 'Eat me'? Or was it a ruddy great big mushroom with two different magical properties either side?

I mean, as we're making shit up now in place of actual scientific medicine, I'm trying to keep the options plentiful.

pombear · 14/10/2018 23:16

The sheer cognitive dissonance to be able to tweet about the importance of girls rugby

And then suggest there's a chromosome difference between a penis and clitoris, so lets all say we're all on a spectrum so let's not judge.

And to regurgitate false suicide statistics

What happened to women like Sarah? Is it some adult form of the Midwich Cuckoos?

Deliriumoftheendless · 14/10/2018 23:13

Also, if you do that thing where you hold a ring over a pregnant woman’s belly and it turns one way for girl you can push it the other way and get a boy.

I was once told if a woman doesn’t orgasm then you conceive a girl.

Trousered · 14/10/2018 23:10

It's a fucking wonder you can get any old people into a hospital to bed block when they are so full of thousands of suicide attempts. Honestly, how fucking gormless are these MPs.

Iused2BanOptimist · 14/10/2018 23:08

I do recall being told a story of a dodgy doctor who offered treatment to choose sex of baby and promised full refund if it failed. Of course "it worked" 50% of the time.

Might have been an apocryphal urban legend retold during a gynae lecture.

Tanith · 14/10/2018 23:07

Really? I was told a high salt diet would guarantee a boy.

Scientifically proved, it was

Sex appears to be some sort of spectrum. She is having quite a night.

Serfisafleur · 14/10/2018 23:03

How is this person an MP? These are ppl we are supposed to trust to make policy...
You can't take any drug that will change the chromosomes of your unborn baby. ..

There IS a clinic that claims to be able to see under a microscope which sperms are XY and which are XX (XX have bigger 'heads' apparently) and can artificially inseminate you with carefully selected sperm but it's still only 70% accurate.

No drug will change the sex of a sperm or a growing or a born human.

Idiot.

OvaHere · 14/10/2018 23:02

What the hell is happening to the intellect of people who hold MP positions? I bloody despair.
