Do you not actually have to be a subscriber to vote though?

Serfisafleur · 14/10/2018 22:04

Yes there was a very similar poll to this which was running for a long time on Twitter at 95% then the AWA spammed it with multiple accounts each reducing it to 50-50 in a short space of time.
Thanks for sharing the poll unfortunately because of mumsnet's high profile I'm sure the same may happen again.

Greystar · 14/10/2018 21:41

Just voted still 98%

It'll be the US transactivists who spam it overnight.

ShotsFired · 14/10/2018 21:15

Best part of 3000 now, still 98%

If there is a tra pile on, then sudden % changes will be very obvious.

It’s such a shame it’s behind a paywall!

No it's not, it stops people abusing the system by using throw away email addresses.

CuriousaboutSamphire · 14/10/2018 15:18

Sorry Etino but we really are both total muppets Wink

glenthebattleostrich · 14/10/2018 15:14

Just voted, didn't see how many votes but still 98% no

happydappy2 · 14/10/2018 15:13

Refreshing to see out in the real world, this is what people think. The amount of nutters on twitter who scream misgendering is literal violence, do not reflect the population at large.

AnotherBewilderedQuoll · 14/10/2018 15:11

2045 votes- Yes: 2% , No: 98% .

Etino · 14/10/2018 15:07

2017 votes, 98% no.

MsBeaujangles · 14/10/2018 14:58

Oooh. That's exciting. I didn't know about the recent polls. I think I can predict the outcome but not the percentages.
I didn't spot the crowdfunded. I would have been up for contributing to that.

LangCleg · 14/10/2018 14:55

I would like to see some reliable polling on this issue (and other related issues).

Well, Pink News did some (18% support for self ID by YouGov) and Wings Over Scotland did some (25% support for self ID by PanelBase).

We're waiting for the results of Helen Staniland's YouGov polling on male bodies in female spaces plus freedom of assembly vs hate speech (6 questions in all) which we all crowdfunded for last week.

Biologicalreality · 14/10/2018 14:53

Well there was a crowdfunder for a YouGov poll last week. I can’t wait for the results of that to be out!
