Transwoman takes women's world record

Rachel McKinnon has tweeted that Rachel has taken the women's 200m indoor cycling world record.

It makes me so angry for the women who have trained so hard to have to compete against male bodied athletes.

Over on ye olde Twitter, Engender Scotland who are big cool girl cheer leaders for self ID currently are having the effrontery to ask for questions on all the marvellous stuff they are doing for women and girl's sport.

Presumably by opening it up to boys and making sure girls don't pull muscles by trying to compete.

I'm going to be generous and assume that the "us" to which you refer is you, McKinnon and anyone else who shares objective biological sex characteristics with the two of you, Bespin.

Because for those of us with two XX chromosomes, a uterus, ovaries, female pelvis, female cardiovascular capacity, female skeletal structure and musculature, there is no "US" with the dickandballsandXY gang, none whatsoever, sorry about that.

And unless McKinnon's feminine essence was powering the pedals I think we're free to conclude this is a case of a big fat cheater.

I don't know anything about gym workouts and pause squats but I'm pretty sure 275 pounds would flatten me.

so the next woman who came along 10 minutes later and beat that time was trans too? otherwise what is the point in this thread because this woman is clearly not the best at this sport by a long way granted she is better than most of us but int that how sport is

You know how good the human eye is at recognising a human face? It’s really good at recognising male and female faces too. I’ve watched a few of these trans videos and all I can see is men’s faces. I know that sounds awful but I just can’t see anything other than a man. It’s very confusing.

This is the same Rachel McKinnon who, on Mother’s Day in the US, advised trans kids to run away from home to find a new “glitter-queer” family.

Yes, this is what I remember about Rachel. One in a long line of transactivists encouraging parental alienation and inviting private contact with kids.

With not a single one of their supposedly responsible groups coming in to tell them that mirroring abuser tactics is a massive no-no because it means a kid can't tell the difference between you and abuser until it is too late.

Yes, McKinnon identifies as an academic as well. McKinnon and Kathleen Stock have exchanged views. I say "exchanged" but it was more of an evisceration of McKinnon's argument, with McKinnon shouting "TERF" and "no debate" in response. Embarrassing.
