Thanks for posting - it's incredible that she can post this and be so brave. She's truly inspirational and I really hope she gets to post many more videos after a successful surgery.

I found MN because I’d been listening to Magdalen’s videos and after her initial lady brain video, I was searching for updates on her condition. That led me, somewhat startled, to a thread on FWR.

I love her snarky humour, elfin charm, dead-pan delivery and no-bullshit understanding.

I wish all good things for Magdalen, including successful surgery. The world can ill-afford to see less of this intelligent and very talented young woman.

I'm going to watch this later. Magdelen is one of the 'fierce' women who really opened my eyes to the implications of things when I first started delving into trans issues. I really hope she knows how much she is cared for and valued. Flowers

This is one of those situations that makes me want to pile over to her home and do her cleaning, shopping, laundry and cook her some soup ffs. I hope she has a good people in RL around her to support her.

I can’t watch it yet.
(currently resident in the Stem Cell Unit with my poorly sick little girl and cannot bear anymore sadness for now)
