Oh no. This is ridiculous. Fionne, so sorry you have to put up with this. This kind of bullying is why I think that (ironically) the trans movement has a much bigger problem with transphobia than the feminism one does.
Dare to do gender differently? Then you get targeted by trans activists. This is what transphobia actually looks like. Bloody ridiculous.
Hoping Fionne will just switch off Twitter, go down to the pub with some friends and ignore the nonsense until Harrop gets bored and moves on.

Fionne, if you are still reading, please know that some of us remember people like you, back in the 70's and 80's who wanted to present themselves how they wanted to. Back in a time when there was no question that you could be a man and look beautiful.

Indeed, that really was progress I think. How on earth did we go from people like Bowie and such, to people claiming being feminine or wearing a dress actually makes you a woman?! I don't get where we went so wrong.

Also its always been a thing of mine, that I love blokes in eyeliner. Not full face makeup, just eyeliner. I think it looks so striking, and suits men better than women most of the time

I've never heard of John Maclean before but he is fabulous
I noticed he does videos starting and ending with no makeup - no qualms about reality rather than illusion, which is good!

I like Kinesis on Twitter too. Think it's super important that we acknowledge and support all the nice considerate trans people out there who find a way of leading the life they want to without trampling on other people's rights and spaces.

I remember when I could go clubbing and be guaranteed to run into at least a couple of men like Fionne. What the hell happened? I thought by the 90s everyone had more or less gotten used to the idea that men don't have to be masculine and women don't have to be feminine, but damn did things ever take a wrong turn between then and now.

Fionn has made my day!
I grew into my real self, loving Bowie and T-Rex, then the New Romantics, with George’s flawless make up.
In fact my most beloved style these days is very Culture Club with the layers and flounces.
I love that as a lesbian with children and grandchildren I am modelling myself of that outrageous gay lad who challenged so many norms.
Fionn gives me hope!
