Fionne is now getting threats of violence via twitter, and has just been called a "gender traitor".

Sinister or what?

I don't think The Handmaid's Tale was meant to be a instruction manual...

toriap2 · 08/10/2018 06:39

Seven of hex and tvandrea also speak a lot of sense and get a lot of grief for stating sense and rationality. I love kinesis’s threads as well.

VovoBickie · 08/10/2018 02:55

She seems like such a gentle soul, I don't know how anyone could harrass her!
Grrr! it's making me cross! They have no limits at all.

PersonWithAVulva · 08/10/2018 01:52

Surely EVERYONE only speaks for themselves, including the good doctor. The transactvists he worships only speak for themselves yet he appears to have no issue making out they speak for all trans people , where from what I have seen, actual transsexual people are just as likely to be against self ID as feminists are. But transactivists claim to speak for them, and Mr Harrop doesn't pull them up on it.

ErrolTheDragon · 08/10/2018 00:13

I can't see Fionne's response but I'd imagine he wouldn't dream of speaking for anyone else because he's (a) an individual and (b) not a self important git.

Now... who do we see there trying to tell someone else how they should think and behave, hmmm?

numptynuts · 08/10/2018 00:07

Gorgeous!

And a truly interesting way to fuck with the suffocating ‘rules’ of gender, without undermining women’s sex based rights.

Lettera · 07/10/2018 21:10

Thank you Fionne for carrying on the great tradition of men smashing gender stereotypes. I feel that David Bowie, Marc Bolan et al would be very proud of you!

LenGoodmansPickledWalnuts · 07/10/2018 19:02

Amazing Fionne & I'm a huge Twitter fan Star

MickHucknallspinkpancakes · 07/10/2018 18:11

Usual not useful. Hmm

MickHucknallspinkpancakes · 07/10/2018 18:10

I can only see a reply (gracious as useful by beautiful Fionne) to Yarraping Harrop not his tweet.

Can someone screenshot it?

boldlygoingsomewhere · 07/10/2018 17:21

Fionne is quite stunning - wish I could pull off a Goth elf look. Very sad that the crew who feel threatened by GNC men are piling on.

Danaquestionseverything · 07/10/2018 16:18

Agreed. Quite ethereal.

arranfan · 07/10/2018 16:16

As my mum would say: "he's just jealous"

I know Fionne has referenced self as a Goth Elf and the beauty does remind me of all of those implausibly beautiful Elves and Elf Warriors in Lord of the Rings.

ChrysanthemumsAreMums · 07/10/2018 16:11

As my mum would say: "he's just jealous"

LangCleg · 07/10/2018 16:09

Harrop giving poor Fionne that smug and patronising lecture. Jesus fucking Christ. I've seen it all now.

AngryAttackKittens · 07/10/2018 16:06

I love the idea of the Pope somehow seeing that tweet and wondering why some random Englishman with crazy eyes is trying to involve him in their Twitter spats.

WichBitchHarpyTerfThatsMe · 07/10/2018 16:01

A trailblazer indeed. Well done Fionne, keep on grooving the GNC look.

arranfan · 07/10/2018 16:01

Probably next on the agenda is a hotline to (choose a deity).

I may be doing AH an injustice - after all, the consistency is that both the Pope and Fionne wear dresses...

Danaquestionseverything · 07/10/2018 16:00

Sorry arranfan. What can I say? Combo of wine and phone.

Danaquestionseverything · 07/10/2018 15:59

Arrafan

Spat my wine. Probably next on the agenda is a hotline to (choose a deity).

arranfan · 07/10/2018 15:55

So, not content with bullying women, Harrop is now bullying GNC men too? Who does he like?

Hard to tell - after all, AH has upbraided the Pope. So...

Vforviennetta · 07/10/2018 15:45

I have just googled Alex Drummond and realised that whenever they were mentioned I was picturing Alex Salmond Grin

Danaquestionseverything · 07/10/2018 15:27

I agree wth happened? The 70’s, 80’s even the 90’s (Kurt Cobain wore skirts and dresses on occasion) and plenty of men rocked makeup. I really don’t understand what happened. I can only hope there’s enough of us Gen Z parents to explain to our kids about these “Golden Years” (now I feel old).

Fionne stay the strong, fabulous, rule breaking individual you are. 💐
