At the top of this evening's PM programme they've trailed 'live debate' about the Stonewall petition.

Does anyone know who's on?

Not happened yet.

Ahh I'm stuck on a train with no headphones! Anyone listening? How's it going?

The trail for More Or Less makes me wonder - have people asked them to look into the suicide stats that Mermaids come out with? I know they do respond to listeners' queries.

17:30, apparently. Still time to tune in!
GO JONNY!
(Although I do agree it's likely this will not be an interview set up to be favourable to him.)

Carolyn Quinn was quite good on this topic when she interviewed people on the women's prison rapist fiasco.

I hope this goes well for him. I have listened to so much where it is just a set up and all they ever end up discussing is that trans people are really nice vulnerable people and everyone else is a bigot - and totally forget there is a bit change in the law coming that is nothing to do with that.

I'm annoyed at how much of a difference I feel it will make that it's Jonny.

Can't be dismissed as a shrill, bitter feminist etc - shouldn't make a difference that it's a man, but it does.

Her response was very predictable, they refuse to acknowledge any concerns so it's case closed as far as stonewall is concerned.

SonicVersusGynaephobia · 04/10/2018 17:13

Ooooh, have I missed it? Tuned in now.

flintyminty · 04/10/2018 17:10

Jonnny Best has tweeted that he's on. Possibly also Ruth Hunt!

Yes, there's an active thread about this on the Board.
