'Do you agree?'

What's that supposed to mean?

You can’t be the head of a girls’ independent school and be a feminist.

Seriously? Some girls' schools seem to be very good at nurturing feminism and combatting sexism.

She's not even really talking about Love Island, she's referring to being obsessed with appearance and spending a lot of time and mental energy on that.

I would have thought the whole set up of Love Island was pretty much guaranteed to lead to a flood of #metoo moments in a decade or so's time, when the young women involved realise how coercive the whole premise of the programme was. I'm not sure that being on Love Island and having a me-too moment later are mutually exclusive; more likely to overlap, I would have thought.

Should have said 'Eeeeek! Minefield'

I'm not sure whether I agree or not, on one hand they are making 'a career' for themselves and on the other hand they are essentially whoring themselves out for cash. Week minefield

She is focusing on the way the contestants looked and the social media response to that. However I think the majority of responses were about how the contestants behaved. I saw more written about Adam’s behaviour towards women than I did his looks. I though it gave a good window into what a good relationship looks like and what a bad relationship looks like and I hope young men and women take lessons from that. That’s my view anyhow.

Article in The Times today:

She didn't actually use the word 'feminist' in that.

Do you?
