Yes. Can you imagine going to them with actual questions afterwards - and being promptly told "that article is bullshit, if you feel like a boy then you are one, go you!"

Are there comments on the article? I can't see them on my phone if there are.

Great article, right until they put links to mermaids and stonewall at the bottom, “for help and support”

ShackUp · 30/09/2018 10:20

'For help and support visit Stonewall or Mermaids'.

😤

Great article! But then at he end it say to visit Mermaids or Stonewall for Help and support. Head. Desk.

SwearyG · 30/09/2018 10:19

Fucking hell. Great article, reall resonates as a recovered anorexic. Why in the name of all things fucking holy does it suggest Mermaids and Stonewall for support after saying affirmation, puberty blockers and hormones are dangerous?

Like sending anorexics to fat camp.

I wouldn't be surprised. That and autistic teenagers questioning their gender.

NopeNi · 30/09/2018 10:18

Wow. That's a hell of a brave article to publish.

Naturally Susie Green says girls are not 'confused' about gender (well why would they be if they have a forecful parent whisking them off for surgery)

Yet Stephanie from TransgenderTrend says: "While anorexia or anxiety used to grip girls with body-image or self-esteem problems, these days switching gender could be seen as the latest coping mechanism.”

I haven’t read the article yet but I’ve often thought this (I was anorexic as a teen). Will read when aim feeling strong enough!
