Aimee Challenor welcomed into the Lib Dems

Just for quick context, Aimee Challenor resigned from the Lib Dems under a cloud of shit, after Aimee's father was charged for raping a 10-year-old-girl while dressed in a nappy, and Aimee continued to employ him as an agent.

So there is currently an investigation by Veritas into what happened, this has not been completed, but already welcomed with open arms into the Lib Dems.

Sickening.

I'm not saying this is this case, but the algorithm on some of those blockers is so sophisticated that it blocks Lidl and Starbucks plus various misspellings of the names of souls who've never had anything to do with anything...

I don't know how to vote either.
The referendum was the only time I didn't cast a vote because I didn't know what to believe.
There isn't anywhere to go

IStandWithPosie · 01/10/2018 00:33

Let's also remember that Aimee's mum and chums outed the identity of the 10 year old raped and tortured by her husband, David

Shock I didn’t know this! Surely that’s illegal?

R0wantrees · 01/10/2018 00:23

There was some rather concerning outcomes from the LibDem conference about disciplining LibDem members who transgressed the party line re 'transphobia' etc.

R0wantrees · 01/10/2018 00:21

Can't see Zoe O'Connell and Sarah Brown will welcome any powersharing in their fiefdom.

The LibDem LGBT+ Twitter are 'good friends' with Aimee Challenor.

Zoe O'Connell, Sarah Brown and Aimee Challenor are all key 'trans advisory' members of Stonewall.

Im starting to think they are all Tory plants...

InWomensProtection · 30/09/2018 23:52

@carrots I was think about the same the only answer is New political party, we could call it ‘women’.

Omg just think of the selection of inspiration women to have in ‘womens’ Party

Annandale · 30/09/2018 23:31

Ac is free to join any party they like and it won't stop me voting for my local LD MP.

But colour me completely unsurprised.

weekfour · 30/09/2018 23:18

I've left the LibDems over this. I've told them why.

AngryAttackKittens · 30/09/2018 23:08

"Hi, we're the LibDems and we don't want to be elected ever."

theOtherPamAyres · 30/09/2018 23:07

Oh Pam. No sense of drama Grin

Yep, I see what you mean. Sorry. My excuse is that there was enough friggin' drama in the Green Party to last me a lifetime.

A lot of activists like AC, tend to focus all their energies in the Young Greens/the Young Lib Dems/Young Conservatives.

They are indulged by grown-ups because they are very good come election time, when lots of leaflets need to go through doors.

The trouble is that you can be a 'Young' Green until you're 30 years of age, or out of education, (whichever is the longest) so most of them don't grow up. Some 'Youngsters' are very long in the tooth, but never graduate to real life. (Some of them might even work in Diversity and Equality Units in City Councils). They carry on, in their echo chamber, without any oversight from the Leadership.

AC is just one of many.

MrsBertBibby · 30/09/2018 22:29

Oh Pam. No sense of drama.

theOtherPamAyres · 30/09/2018 21:50

Heavens above - isn't this outrage a bit misplaced?

I say that as a bruised and aggrieved ex-member of the Green Party.

  • AC has not been convicted or even suspected of any wrongdoing, as far as I am aware

  • There is an internal party investigation and its likely that the outcome will conclude that she lacked maturity and judgement, nothing more

  • Her private life is her private life - the activities don't concern us unless they're breaking laws, surely?

  • She's free to join any political party as a member

  • Her "friends" (all four of them) can rejoice - but that doesn't mean that anyone outside the Lib Dem lbgTRANS is happy about it

*Her political career is dead; her trans activism is discredited and it is likely that her local party will see her as a liability rather than a boon.

So, am I bovvered? Nah Bear

Thethiniceofanewday · 30/09/2018 21:00

I've emailed to express concern, focusing on the employment of David Challenor and the evasion of the Greens' inquiry into that action.

Interested to find that I'm blocked from viewing Aimee's tweets. I am not very GC on twitter because of my work, but I do follow Fair Play for Women. That must be enough to get you on TERFblocker.

Carrrotsandcauliflower · 30/09/2018 19:08

Seriously- on the back of this- who am I able to vote for?? Labour are clearly batty and have gone hook line and sinker for TWAW. Lib Dem’s well all the above and soooo much more. Greens obvs doolally. Conservatives are presiding over all this crap while it unfolds. Somone soon needs to come out fighting for us or we are going to have to do it ourselves.

VickyEadie · 30/09/2018 17:59

Someone'll post it up for you.

ChrysanthemumsAreMums · 30/09/2018 17:51

Vicky
Nooooo!!

VickyEadie · 30/09/2018 17:41

I think we were all hoping that a certain person would acquire some self awareness and actually be ashamed by recent events.

The same person who recently posted a photo of themselves standing in front of a loft ladder, you mean? A fucking LOFT ladder.

AsAProfessionalFekko · 30/09/2018 17:05

I think we were all hoping that a certain person would acquire some self awareness and actually be ashamed by recent events.

But no. No shame at all. LibDems have always been a joke.

VickyEadie · 30/09/2018 16:52

Gosh, no one saw that one coming, surely

Indeed.

Didactylos · 30/09/2018 16:51

So, does this mean the Adult Baby takeover is on again?

Couldnt resist Grin

OvaHere · 30/09/2018 16:50

Lol Tiger that would be an episode worth watching.

Chocolala · 30/09/2018 14:40

Damn it. Now I’ve had to resign my membership. There really is no one I can vote for next time round.

ScrambledSmegs · 30/09/2018 14:38

Gosh, no one saw that one coming, surely Hmm

TigerDrankAllTheWaterInTheTap · 30/09/2018 14:31

OvaHere, can you imagine Malcolm Tucker's response to something like the LibDemLGBT account! If only.
