FFS!!

Just shows how important it is for us to keep putting our heads over the parapet even when it's scary. Most of my friends are Guardian and BBC types (as I used to be!) and I work in the NHS so it feels like a hard conversation to start.

But people like Posie and Dr Nic are being so fearless I feel like I have to do my bit. Courage calls to courage!

I just emailed someone else the video. Along with a message just outlining some of the key issues and summarising a few of the key players.

Her response?

She sent me a text message asking if my email account had been hacked because she'd received some nonsense purporting to be from me!

Not that she disagreed, but what she was reading was so ridiculous that she though my account had been hacked!

I mean, if that weren't so fucking terrifying, it would be hilarious!

It's scary isn't it flowerpot? I sent to a friend yesterday who thought it was a joke.

So many people I've talked to haven't had a clue about the implications. But I have converted quite a few and I am confident that they are also now talking about it too.

Ive just sent the vid privately to three people and asked of they were completing the consultation.

These are educated, intelligent professionals. They had no idea what I was talking about.

Absolutely love this video. I have tentatively shared with a few people who I think will get it.

Trying to be a bit braver (hence finally delurking on here) as we don't have very long left on the consultation now. And the events of the past week have been preposterous so plenty of easy ways to open up conversations!

I really want to share Dick Boldly Goes on fb but I'm a bit scared..! Hmm

My daughter loves it and thinks I should but she also signed the petition and is openly GC at school - she's 12.

There's only one person I know would object and probably undriend me but she wouldn't be any great loss.

But I do have a couple of friends who probably wouldn't support it.

The rest, I suspect, wouldn't have a clue.

Excellent. Short, funny, gets the message across. People who don't know what's been going on will laugh, and be incredulous, and then hopefully at the end, they will feel like their brain has had a cold shower.

I'd love to see Robert Webb have a go at one of these videos.

Sent this to a male (slightly sexist tiny bit right wing friend)

Followed it up with Brendan O’Neill and then Adrian Harrop (godsend Mr Harro) from YouTube.

He immediately got it. He even asked for the link to the consultation before I could send it to him!

And he’s very influential in his group of friends.

One to one messages have been 100% successful for me

Excellent. This is exactly what is needed.

When male rapists and paedophiles are sexually assaulting women in female prisons this film is almost out of date before it's been broadcast.

And the public need to know.

It is too funny. And absolutely spot on. How will the woke crowd answer it? Cries of 'transphobia' (even they make no sense regarding this clip) and finger pointing?
