A sex workers cooperative actually have a stand at a university freshers fair. I am really scared by how quickly this is being normalised.

Students have worked at escorts at times since I don't know when. Hardly surprising when you consider how poor so many are. However they didn't want people to know! It was very private.

Having a stand advertising yourself and others seems weird to me. I mean, their parents could find out for a start and people who find out will forever talk about them as a sex worker, years after when they are in a decent job and it's all behind them.

People are so strange.

So much progressive. So sex positive. Much empowerment.

Mind you, the number of “I’ve got a sugar daddy who pays for university” type articles it hardly surprises me. Students terrified of debt will hardly notice they’ve sold their peace of mind until it’s too fucking late.

Glad I told DD not to go there, which I wouldn’t have done if it wasn’t for this board, so thanks.

Give it time, soon the job centre will be advertising sex work as a valid job and women who refuse to apply will be sanctioned.
