👀

And by feminists, I mean the proper, gender critical, sort.

This is good, I think? Means she's possibly looking at the other side of the TWAW debate. I hope.

Unsurprisingly, Annie strikes as the kind of poster who’d have a handy stash of nuts.

ArmchairAnnie

If you are not critical of gender, a system and ideology built from and actively upholding the patriarchal hierarchy that harms women, then I can in no way see how you are a feminist. But please go on for us about how forced social roles and assumptions towards a certain sex are actually good things that feminists should accept.

I'm very against this idea of gender being something that can be played with in order to somehow destroy it's harm. "the master's tools will never dismantle the master's house". The amount of misogyny seeping out of the modern "feminist" movement seems to prove Audre Lord more and more correct everyday.

Also, I wondered if you'd like a game of conkers?

Too busy making a big pot of conker soup.

CrackpotsArePots · 22/09/2018 21:43

or Uno. I'm not exclusionary

Annie!

Come back to your thread. You left us hanging, mate. We were agog at the answers you'd give to the questions we'd posed

Also, I wondered if you'd like a game of conkers?

IAmLurkacus · 22/09/2018 21:38

Oh you’re back! Think Lang had some safeguarding questions you missed on the other thread?

SonicVersusGynaephobia · 22/09/2018 21:34

What sort of a feminist would be pro-gender stereotypes? Confused

I forgot that if you're not gender critical you're not a real feminist. Only Mumsnet is the home of true feminism apparently.
