ps does anyone know why this is blowing up now? I swear that Pips Bunce had won this award or a similar one or at least was in the news months and months ago.

India is all about India, surely. If India speaks up, it will never be because of a wider injustice, brotherly struggle, or feminist cause. It's just 'good for me or bad for me?'

India would like to gatekeep the bounds of womanhood at exactly that point that India gets to enter it. India and Pips only disagree about the exact placement of the boot on women's necks.

There's a never ending list of such awards. It's just inward-marketing for profitable industries, initially designed to be "inspirational" but in practice senior folks just bully their minions into voting for them, whereapon they publish some carefully-crafted false-modesty acceptance-speech pap.
