Snochia is transgender. No idea if they were born male or female but we can't discuss male pattern violence or why transmen commit violence at the same rates as men (and transwomen) because these words don't have any meaning now.

You have to assume she's male-born, because they never knowingly misgender a TW.

The pics in the Mail showed a masculine-bodied person with masculine facial features and eyebrows groomed into a feminine style. Article says Moseley had only recently come out and was considering starting hormone treatment.

So I know what I think.

To be fair they probably assume she is male and are just repeating the US story.

The US agencies are calling her a woman, which if she is female is fine. But, i know they would never "misgender" a transwoman.

And BBC refuses to report this person's 'gender'. You know why? Because they won't get any complaints from the TRA. And you know why? Because there's no harm to transactivism in a story about women being as violent as men.

If she had a history of mental health problems and it was documented, how on earth was she legitimately registered as a gun owner?

If I were a family member of the victims, I think that this is the question that would be taking any spare capacity I had when I wasn't being consumed by the shock and grief.

But yes, and it's not the first time I've seen this double standard in reporting.

I think she was female who had been on testosterone therapy for a couple of years. Her data still listed her as female.
It's not unheard of for females to commit multi/mass shootings, I can think of 3 off hand.

If she was born male we need to talk about male violence being recorded as female.
