Politicians underwear

For no particular reason Wink... I wonder how many politicians have put pictures of themselves in their underwear online publicly?

It seems very odd to me that someone who says they want to be an MP and later the prime minister would do this. Surely if you were at all politically savvy you'd know this was a bad idea?

I know that some MPs have posed in swimwear- one because she had been a lifeguard & when a paper found old pics she gamely posed again to highlight lifeguards great work.

But in underwear?

Someone should send May the suggestion that she solve the Brexit negotiation issues by being cute at the EU. Perhaps she might twig as to why promoting regressive ideas about women as right on isn't so clever after all.

I don't know how to PM on my phone.

In this case, we are extending the word politician to include those people who might be women's officers. Most of these people are women who are XX. Some of them are not.

Many politicians post pictures on twitter of themselves meeting people. Out and about. Others post pictures of their recent clothes purchases.

Obviously, it is entirely up to political people to decide what they put on the internet. This is just a thread pondering how many political people chose to share pics of themselves in underwear.

Our world today is so very small and the slightest hint of scandal or controversy can ruin even non-political careers.

It depends if you belong to a certain section of society though doesn't it? Some people get away with all kinds of things that others wouldn't purely because they make accusations of bigotry and throw an almighty mantrum if anyone dare question them. A bit like narcissistic injury ...

For the rest - yes. Some politicians have extraordinary ways of bonding with their constituents that some other politicians would never, ever get away with.
