Women on the left are responsible for austerity

CarrotyO · 17/09/2018 21:59

I've heard it said that women on the left actually support and are therefore in some way responsible for austerity. This is because both Labour and the Tories support austerity. Therefore any woman who supports Labour, or the Left in general, also knowingly and consciously supports austerity and are therefore also responsible for the 1000s of deaths of disabled people caused by austerity. Does anyone have any thoughts on this?

Goats are bastards. They're forever headbutting you. I say this as a person who has several smallholding friends who keep goats. Perils of a rural life.

BeyondAnOmnishambles · 18/09/2018 12:47

I will subsist on slugs.

Dragoncake · 18/09/2018 12:46

Silly. Just get some cows to identify as bison.

AngryAttackKittens · 18/09/2018 12:45

Like I could maybe hunt the wild pygymy goats if I was hungry enough. Except goats are cute.

I'm going to be a bit shit at this unless we're near the coast and I can learn how to fish.

BeyondAnOmnishambles · 18/09/2018 12:44

Hmm, I can find an article talking about reintroduction of bison to the UK, but according to wiki (no, admittedly not the best source), European bison never made it here...?

AngryAttackKittens · 18/09/2018 12:44

Can we start with hunting something smaller and less likely to have a perv with a deviantart account hiding behind it?

LangCleg · 18/09/2018 12:44

Can I bond over trans furry bisons too? Pretty please?

AngryAttackKittens · 18/09/2018 12:43

But in a Mad Max dystopia what do they hunt? The wild Harleys?

deepwatersolo · 18/09/2018 12:42

So true, Angry, so true...

AngryAttackKittens · 18/09/2018 12:42

Well, if nothing else this thread has allowed deepwater and I to bond after a previous tiff.

Over laughing at perverts who think they're sexy bison, which is one of those "only on the internet" moments.

deepwatersolo · 18/09/2018 12:41

If we stop agriculture everywhere right now the first people to die will be children, elderly, disabled, and women.

Women because the men will fight us for resources and win.

THEN there won't be enough women left and our position will be like the recent mad max fim but maybe with the breeding females not drifting around in somehow immaculately white floaty semi transparent robes grin but shackled up in a terrible state and given to the most powerful men.

I for one can't wait this anarcho-wotsit lark sounds AWESOME!

Well, yeah, the bottom line is that we will just have to make place for bisons. Better to get used to the idea now, I guess.

BeyondAnOmnishambles · 18/09/2018 12:40

Nothing, someone better get over to the prepping threads and inform them of the coming madmax/huntergatherer dystopia...!!

deepwatersolo · 18/09/2018 12:38

Oh god, are there furry trans-bisons? There probably are, aren't there?

You pointed out the use of the US term 'welfare cuts', and from there it all started to come together for me... I feel like the guy in 'a beautiful mind'...

Dragoncake · 18/09/2018 12:37

CarrotyO And people are generally fine with unfounded smears against women actively working to protect our sex based rights being propagated

Any chance that you could retract that unfounded smear upthread OP?

NothingOnTellyAgain · 18/09/2018 12:35

Short story:

Women are TOTAL BASTARDS and if we want to have human children, elderly etc cared for properly we need to hand them all over to the men.

Yep sounds like an awesome plan!

If we stop all agrigulture right now and have mountains of dead bodies everywhere

Will that all be the fault of left wing women as well? Grin

This thread is hilariously nuts and I am comfortable to say that I can't understand at least half of what is being said Grin

LangCleg · 18/09/2018 12:26

None so blind as those who started the thread to pretend that they couldn't won't see.

SophoclesTheFox · 18/09/2018 12:23

What's the difference between a buffalo and a bison?

wait for it....

wait....

it's good....

You can't wash your hands in a buffalo Grin

No idea what this thread is about any more.

RedToothBrush · 18/09/2018 12:23

Ok. So nobody agrees with the claims Lisa is making. Thank you

I agree with probably 90%+ of what Lisa says. I think the other 10% minor points in the scheme of things.

deepwatersolo · 18/09/2018 12:20

And this is our future. Bisons.

deepwatersolo · 18/09/2018 12:14

So you do think that women involved in Wpuk are responsible for austerity

I have given you the answer multiple times now, explicitly using words like co-responsible. There is nothing else I can do here, obviously.

BeyondAnOmnishambles · 18/09/2018 12:12

"generally fine with unfounded smears against women actively working to protect our sex based rights being propagated but are keen to protect women propagating smears and bringing us all into disrepute with her racist rhetoric"

Ie 'where's your evidence for this thing you are saying, but I'm gonna state something unevidenced'. Not hypocritical at all.

deepwatersolo · 18/09/2018 12:11

*Party politics/austerity > all women
Party politics/"anti racism" > all women

Putting party politics ahead of women is not a feminist act.
I don't see how Lisa making this point about specific women is difficult to understand?*
