It's been said many times on this forum but bears repeating that we should resist rather than embrace this increasing 'gender' dimorphism. It's oddly disquieting that Alex Drummond sports a beard when Harnaam Kaur is a truly brave flouter of convention who embraces her biology. Harnaam Kaur is a real woman.

It can't be said often enough that sex ≠ gender. And gender is a crap concept.

Oh that is interesting thought the rise of the beard, symbol of maleness and of long hair in woman......Umm

They’ll probably ask for help from the so called experts, such as Stonewall.

We can hope that light is beginning to dawn that some of these so-called 'experts' they've been consulting thus far may be part of the problem, not the solution.

Anecdatum: I was at a busy restaurant the other day where there was a party of twelve young women at a nearby table. It was extraordinary: they all had long hair. All the couples at the other tables were long haired women and bearded men. It was as if everyone had been programmed.

If you think my comment sounds weird then you are probably under 30. There was a time not so long ago when it wasn't only old women who had short hair, and hardly any men had beards.

I wouldn’t get too excited. They’ll probably ask for help from the so called experts, such as Stonewall.

Undiagnosed autism + toxic attitude towards feminity.

Unbearable pressure on what girls need to look like. So much more than even 5-10 years ago.

ErrolTheDragon · 16/09/2018 01:04

impressionable kids are being told that they can change 'gender' (ie sex) instead of just letting them get on with their lives whether they conform to gender stereotypes or not.

bluescreen · 16/09/2018 00:50

Ooh, let me guess. Men are stronger, more independent, braver, more assertive, more inventive, more creative, more emotionally continent (though more violent, hmm) , and - erm - more respected . And better than women at everything .

Who wouldn't want to be like that, when they're putting up with catcalls, put-downs and menstruation?

Gwan: just google 'masculinity' if you don't believe me.

Text says 4400%!

Thank God. Let’s hope the investigation is allowed to, you know, investigate. And report.

arranfan · 16/09/2018 00:30

Equalities Minister Penny Mordaunt has ordered officials to discover the reasons why the number of girls being referred for 'transitioning' treatment has increased by 4,415 per cent.

PutItAwayDear · 16/09/2018 00:24

Four percent?

Do they mean 400 percent?

Or four fold?

OvaHere · 16/09/2018 00:19

Good. There needs to be proper research into this. I feel that the answers are fairly obvious though.
