Where is the bewilderness?

I miss her!

OP posts:
OhWellItWasNiceKnowingYouAll · 16/09/2018 11:34

Just letting you know that, like bewilderness, I was permanently banned after the Stella Cressy thread, despite the mod on duty agreeing that I didn't actually break any guidelines and despite being here since the dawn of time with not a single suspension, no warnings, no "strikes".

Also no right of reply, no discussion by email, just bang, gone.

I expect this post (and account) will now be reported and deleted.

Some of you may guess who I was/am Grin

Datun · 16/09/2018 11:33

Is The Bewilderness on a permanent ban?

Please, anyone who is in touch with her, tell her from me she needs to come back, if she is at all able.

It's no good talking if people can't hear.

I understand the rage and frustration with this mind control we are all being subjected to. But times are changing. Things are happening. And now it's vital to be tactical, rather than ideological.

womanformallyknownaswoman · 16/09/2018 11:27

Many women have been forced off various platforms by covert targeting under the guise of moderation - they have variously reported numerous instances of mods targeting them by 1:1 messages, by sex blind guidelines as well as being abused by proxy by mob reporting to mods

This board keeps me sane. Ever since I went down this particular rabbit hole - and as I keep telling people, once you know this stuff, you cannot un-know it or 'let it go' - taking to people on here helps me keep down the anxiety.

CrackpotsArePots · 16/09/2018 11:08

Empress

Yes, it can be hard to change name. I am paranoid though! Continuing along the compound noun theme should give me a fair few options

EmpressOfSpartacus · 16/09/2018 11:02

Love the name! I'm too attached to Empress although it's probably time I changed the rest of it. I wonder how many of us there are?

R0wantrees · 16/09/2018 11:00

Is there any news of Pratchet? I have noticed her absence too.

CrackpotsArePots · 16/09/2018 10:57

Empress

Me too. I have name changed.

OunceOfFlounce · 16/09/2018 10:56

I had wondered. I find it hard to spend much time on here these days because it's all got so dark, and a lot of the worst case scenarios seem to be playing out. I hoped I just happened to be missing established posters like thebewilderness coz I leave so many threads unopened.

I'm glad to know that some of you are still in touch and that there's important talk happening off site. Also, I feel more grateful than ever for those of you still here.

I also find myself wondering what the non gender critical posters are saying these days. People like daim, bepsin and rat - do they still think 'it will never happen'? I wonder.

LangCleg · 16/09/2018 10:43

What Empress and AAK said.

Juells · 16/09/2018 10:15

You'd think pathetic men who haunt women's discussion boards to prevent them talking would get a fucking life. Do they never look in a mirror and wonder why they they feel the need to involve themselves in policing women's thoughts?

Alicethroughtheblackmirror · 16/09/2018 09:59

Oh no!

She was one of the posters who really stood out whee I first started lurking (and, obviously subsequently).

EmpressOfSpartacus · 16/09/2018 09:53

I almost didn't come back but calmer heads talked me into it.

Since all this started I've met and made friends with a lot of phenomenal women. We talk. We plan. We campaign. We laugh and cry and support each other. And there is nothing the TRAs can do to stop that or infiltrate that. Being part of a fellowship of women - it's the thing they want most and will never have.

woman11017 · 16/09/2018 09:03

Posting again, in solidarity with those MIA.

I know where to find her so don't have to miss her, but resent the fact that she was forced out. B was a radfem during the second wave - think how much history and knowledge women here are being denied access too because she committed the crime of being too blunt.

LangCleg · 16/09/2018 08:54

I miss Bewilder already.

EmpressOfSpartacus · 16/09/2018 07:00

I was suspended for posting on the Stella Creasy thread & they've just let me back in. I think there were a few of us.

DuckingGoodPJs · 16/09/2018 06:53

Don't fear wimmin, people with ovaries, vaginas et al are still talking to each other.

A bit of an own-goal for the anti-women activists really:

  1. women talk more freely in private, without surveillance
  2. AWA seek to infiltrate these spaces, or at least dominate public discussion
  3. banning loads of women from public fora leads to 1)

Diddums!
But I do love the smell of an own-goal in the morning. Grin

WaddIelikeapenguin · 16/09/2018 03:25

MN's great great loss is twitter's gain.
You cant stop women talking.

What makes men angry with women?

Aggrieved entitlement.
You can test this assertion by telling a man no.

Women speaking the truth generally leads to them being targeted covertly and coerced to leave public spaces.

DancelikeEmmaGoldman · 16/09/2018 01:09

Oh no. What? When? Why?

arranfan · 16/09/2018 00:28

Bewilderness has been banned from MN for having a GC brain and an actual opinion.

One of those 6 week bans or a life ban?

WichBitchHarpyTerfThatsMe · 16/09/2018 00:24

Bewilderness has been banned from MN for having a GC brain and an actual opinion. A hanging offence apparently. Under his eye.

Some us are still in touch with her. Maryz too.

Don't fear wimmin, people with ovaries, vaginas et al are still talking to each other.

arranfan · 16/09/2018 00:09

I have a feeling that Dittany, Buffy, LDR and various others were mentioned here with some updates in that thread (but not for everyone).
