Yes, I just spent a bit of time on the #ukteli site and it was so odd the quotes it chose to highlight from mumsnet.

PositivelyPERF · 10/09/2018 19:35

I see VD has at put a section on Twitter about the trans rapist. Nothing about the finder flip, though someone has asked her about it. 😁

PineappleSunrise · 10/09/2018 19:35

Actually, that's a really good idea. Shall we start "exposing WPUK?" Just keep letting the light in...

Mrbatmun · 10/09/2018 19:33

The comparison of WPUK with Britain First is interesting actually. With Britain First, all that was needed to do is allow people to actually see what they were saying. The FB page 'Exposing Britain First' simply contained screenshots, or sometimes a link to show that what BF were saying was factually bullshit, or a link to show that a video on the BF page was in fact not of what the page was saying it was etc. And of course everyone was free to go on the BF page and be horrified for themselves. It was called 'Exposing BF' because that was all that was needed to totally discredit them. Exposure.

The TRAs cannot do that. They cannot set up pages called 'Exposing WPUK'. They know that exposure of what WPUK and other women are saying will show that what they are saying makes perfect sense. The only thing they can do is flail around, sharing blocklists, begging people not to engage with WP, saying the words 'extremist hate group' over and over again in the hope that people will just hear those words and not engage their critical brain to look any further.

It really does say it all.

CertainHalfDesertedStreets · 10/09/2018 19:33

'They are regarded in the same category as Britain First'

Fascinating use of the passive voice here. The reader is encouraged to think it's the counter terrorism unit doing the regarding. Whereas actually it's the 'terminally deluded unit'.

OlennasWimple · 10/09/2018 19:32

ah, I suppose if MN is indeed a "radicalisation portal" it makes perfect sense to an idiot that WPUK should be reported to the police for investigation alongside Britain First and Al Mujahideen Hmm

JillyArmeeen · 10/09/2018 19:29

In what way are a woman's place terrorists?
This is get beyond a joke now. I want to wake up from this horrible strange nightmare.
Stating biological facts is not hate.
Someone please tell me the police won't take that seriously

CertainHalfDesertedStreets · 10/09/2018 19:25

I'm not clear that Tara really has much understanding of what Tara's motivation is beyond What Tara Wants Tara Gets. But men's problems are not women's to sort out.

So clearly not a women's prison no. Somewhere else.

ShotsFired · 10/09/2018 19:24

Crack on I say. The more sunlight we shine on this the better.

BettyDuMonde · 10/09/2018 19:24

Reporting WPUK is just more wasting of police time, surely?

Like the razor blades under stickers nonsense.

PineappleSunrise · 10/09/2018 19:22

Counter Terrorism has been asked by TRAs to investigate A Woman's Place UK because of stickers?

I'll bet MI5 is dead impressed by that.

MipMipMip · 10/09/2018 19:18

Just to keep the link handy

I would imagine the "alleged rape" Was because he hasn't been convicted of that one. So strictly speaking that rape is only alleged. That he is a rapist is not.

R0wantrees · 10/09/2018 19:17

So TELI are describing Fairplay for Women as an 'extremist anti-trans activist' group?
www.teli.org.uk/our-vision/

and Sue Briscoe (Channel 4 inclusion consultant and prospective Conservative candidate) is tweeting about Woman's Place UK

Gosh, don't you have half naked pictures of you on display in rooms where complete strangers will be looking?

#WomenWomaningWrong

BettyDuMonde · 10/09/2018 19:05

BiologyMatters - I think they are pictures OF Tara?

CertainHalfDesertedStreets · 10/09/2018 19:01

I think Victoria is here somewhere judging by that. C'mon, who is it?

BiologyMatters · 10/09/2018 18:57

Why is Tara sitting in front of two photos of naked/ semi naked women?

Datun · 10/09/2018 18:48

To be fair - Tara didn't agree that transwomen should be allowed into women's prisons no matter what. Tara just wanted to be sure that people like Tara didn't end up in male prisons and on this point, I agree. A man who presents as female will be eaten alive in a male prison. That's not right either.

Tara's motivation is not making sure they stay out of a male prison. Otherwise they would be happy with a third option. Delighted in fact.

Tara's motivation is that they get into a female prison. Whether that's for validation, or intimidation purposes, who knows.

Either way, Tara is a violent male born criminal and should be nowhere near incarcerated women.

And what was all that banging on about they have been transitioned since a child? They transitioned at 18.

MsBeee · 10/09/2018 18:46

If she hasn't she needs here head examined.

PositivelyPERF · 10/09/2018 18:42

Do you reckon Victoria has peaked yet? 🤣

PersistenceIsNotFutile · 10/09/2018 18:37

The BBC is a disgrace.

SturdyEarmuffs · 10/09/2018 18:24

'Knell, girlscout - that was certainly the best person to talk about this on the BBC eh?

smh

GirlScout72 · 10/09/2018 18:20

Just hopping in here, so sorry if this has been said before.

It was the Tara Hudson case that changed prison policy - the very policy that since put Karen White in a female jail. This is such a delicious irony. 150,000 people signed a petition and Caroline Lucas wrote an open letter to the Home Office to get Hudson moved to a female jail.

So it was the Hudson case that directly influenced the current system of the management of trans prisoners that allows male bodied, non legally transitioned, bepenised violent offenders transfer into the female estate!

Oh and I bet the BBC is redcheeked, poor oppressed Tara now works as a TS camgirl, residing in Amsterdam where they fled, obviously, to recover from the trauma of being in a male jail. Home made porn openly on timeline, along with tweets such as 'I love sucking d*ks tbh' and mind boggling discussions of 'anl play' LOL

So Tara and their 'seven inch surprise' is currently still in the 'entertainment' business.

Oh and Tara RT'd something minutes after the show calling Dr Nic a TERF and a Nazi.

Good work Beeb ...

Procrastinator1 · 10/09/2018 18:17

Thank you to Melissa Briscoe too. She made it clear to the viewers that the decision to send White to a woman’s prison was really terrible.

speakingwoman · 10/09/2018 18:03

Well done Dr Nic.
