As @R0wantree linked to on the thread on crossing out 'gender' for 'sex' on school forms, but this deserves its own thread.

Take a look at 'BISH' website for teens.

www.bishuk.com/about-you/whats-your-gender/

Has a helpful diagram. People called 'he' and who look masculine tend to be tough, active and independent. People called 'she' and who look feminine tend to be soft, emotional and passive.

He goes into schools and youth clubs and gives training to teachers on sex and relationship education with this shit! bishtraining.com/

"Our genitals are on a spectrum in terms of: how much erectile tissue sticks out (clitorises and dicks and inbetween); where the prostate is; where the wee hole is; whether the gonads are inside or outside; vagina size. Many people are in the middle of this spectrum with how their bodies are configured."

WTAF? There is a spectrum as to where the prostate is? that makes just as much sense as saying there is a spectrum as to where the uterus is between males and females ! Confused

"Currently I’m heavily involved in the DO … project. This is a campaign to make great sex and relationships education happen in schools." www.dosreforschools.com/

BISH and the DO SRE FOR SCHOOLS project are both sponsored by Durex and DO involves serious people who know about biology like the Family Planning Association, Brook and the National Association of Headteachers.

....I hope they were just not paying attention. I think we could bring it to the attention of their twitter accounts that they are supporting the promotion of sexism and absolute biological nonsense into schools.

still from the Bish video

Wiki:
"In female human anatomy, Skene's glands or the Skene glands (/skiːn/ SKEEN; also known as the lesser vestibular glands, periurethral glands, paraurethral glands, or homologous female prostate)"

Does someone have access to a medical textbook?

Is this the way that activists / CRUK will justify not campaigning to 'people with prostates''?

(Checks skin) Nope, not grey, nor do I automatically cover my breasts with my arms when I lie down.

The fixation on women ejaculating = porn again.

QuestaVecchiaCasa · 07/09/2018 21:52

Just thought I would find out how vaginas work and discovered that "grey people" have them.

www.bishuk.com/bodies/

Also is it really true that -women- grey people ejaculate out of their "pee pipe"?

Concerns raised years ago already:

That was just on a quick Google

NothingOnTellyAgain · 07/09/2018 20:19

Just looking at the activity bookk.

Full of weirdy middle aged person trying to be down with the kids language, it's painful.

They seem to be bizarrely down on romantic relationships.
I get that heteronormative media & ideas around it do need addressing
But this info pack goes a little beyond that!

What age is this aimed at? 14 was it?

WhatTheWatersShowedMe · 07/09/2018 15:21

OMG what fuckery is this???!

Candidpeel · 07/09/2018 14:00

@BossWitch - I've been tagging them too. Also Reckitt Benckiser @discoverRB which is the company that owns Durex (they also own Nurofen, Dettol, Cillit Bang, Veet, Vanish, Calgon etc.... they shouldn't want to piss off the mums demographic!

They haven't got back to me but i was also going to write

boss well done! Point out that saying penises and clitorises are the same is dangerous misogynistic and homophobic gaslighting. Clitorises cannot rape and gay people are same sex attracted.

Obscuring biological sex by using only gender language erases the experiences of sexual assault victims and is dangerous. Only females get pregnant. The majority of sexual violence is committed by males against females . Gender identity is irrelevant to that. Educating the next generation not to be abusive should not involve pretending abuse doesn't happen.

The gender scale uses regressive gender stereotypes of passive women etc.

The training asks teenagers to give explicit personal information about their sexual preferences to a grown man which as PP have said is essentially grooming.

Yes cecily and his partner is "mates" with the BISH trainer

Aye, Meg-John is partner of Edward Lord and MJ has contributed to Juston's bish guide. Justin and MJ have also written books together as well as having a podcast and zine site megjohnandjustin.com

Lippysoutherner · 07/09/2018 13:37

I have attended one of his sessions. He referred to 'people with clitorises'. It was a moment.

BossWitch · 07/09/2018 13:28

I've been tagging durex in on my tweets about this - they've got back to me today to say that they have passed it on to their marketing team amd also given me a direct email and phone number. Anyone fancy helping me put together an email that summarises the (many!!) reasons why durex shouldn't be sponsoring this shit?

stillathing · 07/09/2018 13:27

Yes cecily and his partner is "mates" with the BISH trainer and also into gaslighting that penises and clitorises are the same.

CecilyNeville · 07/09/2018 13:21

WRT organisations believing and buying into this stuff - everybody's favourite freemason, Edward Lord, was Chair at Swim England (then called ASA) until summer 2015. It takes just one charismatic individual to set the direction of 'this is how we do things now'.

IfNotNowThenWhen1 · 07/09/2018 13:18

They come near my kid with that garbage I will take it to the mattresses, I swear.
I will make it my life's work ffs.
It IS GROOMING, there's NO ambiguity, quite aside from the sexist brainwashing. How the Hell can any school sanction this?

Thank you for the clitoris info Nothing. I had a vague idea about it having "roots" but I looked it up, and wow, it's massive! So, no, not like a tiny penis at all, sorry Just-in.

Benjaminbuttonschild · 07/09/2018 12:42

Stillathing - that is a fucking appalling! Sorry for swearing, I am just getting fed the fuck up of this nonsense and bullshit and it makes me genuinely worry for my kids and society as a whole. I'm not on twitter or anything like this, but all this crap about people being 'banned' for daring to point out the obvious is literally fucking obscene.

It's like we live in some really fucking oppressive regime where if you dare to speak up you are committing some sort of treachery. This stuff is fairly new to me, a year ago I didn't know anything about it. Now its all anyone talks about and you see it online all the time. I just want it to stop.

It won't be long before the TRA's start applying this belief system to animals. "This is my dog, Misty. I know she has rather large testicles but she really is the most loving pooch ever, soooooo emotional". FFS!

NothingOnTellyAgain · 07/09/2018 12:42

I think lots of the time this stuff obviosuly isnt being reviewed by anyone with any common sense?

But then look at GG and swim england etc and it seems plenty of people do actually believe this?

Can educators in the UK really believe that stuff about no different between a penis and a clitoris apart from size???????????

stillathing · 07/09/2018 12:28

I really hope none of his materials are actually being used in schools.

two of london's most elite schools give their endorsement on his website.

i think an issue is that a casual glance might give the impression that it was good training. teens really need better, frank, sex and relationship education.

GenderApostate · 07/09/2018 12:13

I really hope none of his materials are actually being used in schools.
I was appalled yesterday by seeing a Sex education specialist - Catherine Kirk retweeting his work. I tweeted her but as I am shadow banned I presume she can’t see my tweet?
Even Jessica Eaton was saying he was well thought of in the field, I was quite surprised/annoyed that she neither liked nor shared any of the stuff people were concerned about, it’s not like her to stay quiet .

Benjaminbuttonschild · 07/09/2018 11:56

Why is there such a movement all of a sudden for trans this and intersex that??? I don't ducking get where it's come from and it is absolute fucking lunacy!!!

Do they teach this shit in school? Is this 2018?? I don't know what the fuck is going on in society.

Pacers · 07/09/2018 11:48

NothingOnTellyAgain

That bit jumped out at me too. I have young teens and that would massively influence them (and completely predispose them against anything to the contrary which I, as their aged mother, might tell or have told them about the fundamentals of sex).

It’s appalling, all of it, on every level.

Benjaminbuttonschild · 07/09/2018 11:48

I haven't been following all of this but I am so fucking confused. Haven't read the full thread but where is common sense. What the fuck happened to the world. This is the most batshit thing I have read for a while

Igneococcus · 07/09/2018 11:28

I just sent the quote about genitals being a spectrum to dp on chat and his reply was:
"it's nice to know that in a world with the occasional mule, there's no such thing as a horse or a donkey"
I might use that in future anytime someone claims that sex is a spectrum.

NothingOnTellyAgain · 07/09/2018 11:18

It's an ideology.
It has no basis in reality.
The reason they want to indoctrinate kids may be because they will grow up and then if they all believe this stuff it's "fact".
Or more sinister, a lot of it looks very worrying and groomy.

HunnyBunnyXX · 07/09/2018 11:07

I was a bit nonplussed when I saw Justin had blocked me because I was trying my best to be polite - perhaps he read my tweet about the epidemic of beardy, woke blokes telling women how to be women on the internet.

It was unfortunate because I hadn't asked him the question I really wanted to, which was why he is so keen to make our teens so confused about some basic concepts - his quote is:

"If you’ve had some basic AF sex education you might have been taught that there are only two sexes and two genders. Wrong. Sex and Gender is a lot more complicated than that."

And he then goes on to get most of what he says about biology and gender wrong. Why do these people want to get children so invested in being introspective to the point of the quest to work out their gender being all they have space to think about. It seems to me to be a dangerous cult-like experiment with our children's mental health, especially girls.

NothingOnTellyAgain · 07/09/2018 11:06

"he differences are so big that sometimes there are more similarities between a penis and a clitoris than two penises or two clitorises"

Misogyny alert.

The part of the clitoris that is external is only a tiny part of a very large interal organ that varies slightly in different women >> finally explaining why some have a "g spot" and why some enjoy anal sex while for others it does nothing for them >> it's all to do with the clitoris, whether this interal organ can be stimulated from different parts in different women.

The reduction of it >> literally >> to not only just the external part which is a tiny piece of it but the piece that men can see and feel when they fuck you, and also to it as nothng different to a "very small penis" when in fact (obviously) it's a completely different and highly complex organ that is only just being understood more after years of science focussing on cocks (can't think why!) is massive walloping misogyny in action.

And on a website for teens.

Nice.
