A twitter account is saying that stickers in Manchester Oxford Road station have razor blades behind them put there by TERFS. If you are terfblocked you won't be able to view.

I can never quite tell in situations like this if it's option 1 (person is telling porkies) or option 2 (person genuinely believes that a bunch of random mostly middle aged women want to kill male humans who wear makeup because they spend too much time on Twitter and Tumblr).

arranfan · 06/09/2018 08:22

If the content of the messages has been deleted at the user's request, why are MNHQ obeying the instructions of someone who PMs their other users telling them to die?

I can't quite get my head round how the chat with the MN mod in question went?

"So, that's a hot chocolate with extra syrup and double whipped cream.
And you want me to withdraw the content of the "Go kill yourself," "Die Nazi Scum." messages but you want me to leave the footprint of them in the inboxes.
I'll just do that for you.
Lotus biscuit on the side? Or one of those gingerbread figures that fit over the side of the mug? Nothing's too much trouble for self-appointed Witchfinder Generals of perceived hate speech on Mumsnet."

Hoppinggreen · 06/09/2018 08:22

Well if they didn’t taken them down they would get hurt by the razor blades that the evil TERFS spend ages magically fixing on the back
Not victim blaming or anything, just sayin

SlartiAardvark · 06/09/2018 08:22

On a positive note, if the Eejits tell all their followers there are razor blades behind the stickers does that mean that the Eejit Followers will stop taking the stickers down?

Alicethroughtheblackmirror · 06/09/2018 08:21
Shock

And they say they don't need psychological assessment...

ballsballsballs · 06/09/2018 08:18

It's another huge chinny reckon from me.

I haven't had an abusive PM in months. Sad face.

Oh! I knew you said that if you turn up at Westminster Courts you might be giving birth on the steps just to bring some additional excitement to Venice & Linda's little gathering.

Another FWR baby - #mucusplug and ramekin/petri dish/Baby Bowl will be so close in age - and, of course, separated by a year of school as it's that critical time when birthdays matter?

TheCraicDealer · 06/09/2018 08:16

I got one too- also titled "kill yourself like a good little Nazi". Clearly a copy and paste job, can't even applaud their industry.

But seriously, who does that? No college this morning, hun? Hmm

AngryAttackKittens · 06/09/2018 08:16

Mine just had "Die" as the subject, and then some video I didn't watch.

If the content of the messages has been deleted at the user's request, why are @MNHQ obeying the instructions of someone who PMs their other users telling them to die?

arranfan · 06/09/2018 08:12

Surely no one believes this bullshit.

tl;dr No, it's a useful fiction allowing individuals to vent bile at popular targets.

This is where Frankfurt's On Bullshit is so helpful.

It is impossible for someone to lie unless he thinks he knows the truth. Producing bullshit requires no such conviction. A person who lies is thereby responding to the truth, and he is to that extent respectful of it. When an honest man speaks, he says only what he believes to be true; and for the liar, it is correspondingly indispensable that he considers his statements to be false. For the bullshitter, however, all these bets are off: he is neither on the side of the true nor on the side of the false. His eye is not on the facts at all, as the eyes of the honest man and of the liar are, except insofar as they may be pertinent to his interest in getting away with what he says. He does not care whether the things he says describe reality correctly. He just picks them out, or makes them up, to suit his purpose.

LangCleg · 06/09/2018 08:12

I only got one Godwin PM, already deleted but the title was:

I know you seem to love Hitler, here's some advice

Clearly not sufficiently jackbooted for four!

ShrodingersSturdyPyjamas · 06/09/2018 08:11

If a TRA got a message like that they would go to the police.

Rufustheyawningreindeer · 06/09/2018 08:11

Aaah sorry you did say that..its early

(Thats my excuse and im sticking with it)

HavingALittleBabyToolshed · 06/09/2018 08:10

Did they all say the same thing?

The content was deleted but two had the “racist” title and two had the “nazi” title.

Rufustheyawningreindeer · 06/09/2018 08:09

having

Cant you do both?

Rufustheyawningreindeer · 06/09/2018 08:09

step

If people believe that the way you tell a baby boy from a baby girl is by measuring the clitoris/penis then yeah...i reckon they can believe this

HavingALittleBabyToolshed · 06/09/2018 08:09

Are we the understand those PMs with advertisements perhaps?

That said, I had my bloody show this morning, so now I’m deciding if I should call the baby “Racist” or “Nazi”? Truly yoooounique. #MucusPlug

Rufustheyawningreindeer · 06/09/2018 08:07

4!

Thats just showing off having

Did they all say the same thing?

StepBackNow · 06/09/2018 08:07

Surely no one believes this bullshit.

HavingALittleBabyToolshed · 06/09/2018 08:06

I got 4 lovely messages calling me a racist and a Nazi. Just lovely.

Rufustheyawningreindeer · 06/09/2018 08:00

I reported the PM sent by the creepy troll but I hop the post is left up for everyone to see who they

Ive done the same but i hope its taken down if appropriate

I respect the motivation behind your comment thebewilderness but its pissing me off that mumsnet deletes comments with no explanation and people who are obviously not very bright assume that every single deleted post is a horrific transphobic attack

And then complete rubbish like that post is allowed to stand to show the world what these people are like

Its not doing that...its making them think (well maybe not think) that other people agree and that they are correct in their assertions

Maybe if mumsnet could highlight those posts with a note saying that they are not deleting due to the wishes of mumsnetters but that the poster has been warned that would be preferable

arranfan · 06/09/2018 07:59

I feel worse for their pathetic fawning handmaidens. When they mature into proper grown ups they'll look back at tweets like this and just cringe.

If they don't, the results will be too horrible to contemplate. Who are they going to call every time there's definitely a monster under the bed because their 2-year old said so? Or when the chocolate-smeared DCs deny eating the selection boxes because they were sleeping at GPs or on the moon at the time?

Mrbatmun · 06/09/2018 07:52

Behind each sticker is a carefully concealed radicalisation portal. Remove but two millimetres and you are sucked into simultaneous irrelevance and given the Machiavellian skills to rule the world like a Bond villain.

😂😂😂

EntropicTupperwareDrawer · 06/09/2018 07:50

Die Nazi Scum Grin

If only MLK had thought of using that one! He really missed a trick.

Dermymc · 06/09/2018 07:50

I got this
