"Mr [David] Challenor volunteered for the Charity in 2015 and 2016 he assisted with event set up and take down, and designing some posters and leaflets. The Trustees were made aware of criminal proceedings being taken against Mr Challenor in November 2016. A directive was issued to those responsible for volunteer recruitment that Mr Challenor was not to be accepted as a volunteer at the Charity’s events and if he attended public events organised by the Charity he was monitored by the trustees. I don't think any tin foil hattery is necessary. I suspect the explanation is mainly so many organisations falling over themselves to score inclusiveness brownie points by having a trans person on board, especially given the connection of T with the now very popular (and rightly so) LGB rights agenda.

The incontrovertible fact remains. Aimee was a trustee of Coventry Pride.

Coventry Pride has issued a statement on David Challenor saying that as soon as he was charged, November 2016, the organisation took safeguarding measures into operation. DC was banned from volunteering and was to be monitored if he attended any event organised by Coventry Pride.

"In its support of Aimee the Party should have made clear that she was in care/supported independent living and therefore not living at home during the period the police have stated the crimes took place."

Is that true?

Plus I actually just said I'd rather have ten trans MPs than one. It's not the trans-ness - it's the laser focus single issue at the expense of women.

MPs need to have a range of interests as well as a special area of interest, and need to be able to listen and understand and debate and compromise. Show me the transactivist on that road.

I didn't say they'd need to be restricted. I said they would automatically have undue influence for a newly elected single MP.

I fully support anything that enables better representation of the public in Parliament.
I'm sure that there are are other groups of people who are not represented and who are openly working to improve this.

I know Sue Pascoe for example (now consultatant to Channel 4) has talked of her hope to stand as Conservative MP.

From the BBC link the conclusion in fact:

Following the suspension, Clare Lorraine Phipps, acting chair and secretary of Green Party Women, said: "We will be standing by Aimee throughout her no-fault suspension and closely following the investigation to ensure that difficult lessons are indeed learnt by the party."

What does 'difficult lessons' mean in this context?

It's like no one who has a position of power within the Party is able to say what they actually mean.

It's not tin foil hattery at all. It's the whole bloody point. I would rather have five or ten trans MPs than one. One alone is vulnerable, a victim, the only trans opinion available. Ten might disagree, or would be obviously too solely focused on the rights of a tiny number of people, would be forced to demonstrate a range of interests and a balance of opinions. The thing about trans activists (rather than transsexuals generally) is that it's All About Trans. Trans is the ONLY story in town for these activists.

Imagine this. One trans MP on the WE Ctte - their word would be considered the absolute authority on all things trans, particularly among men who find the whole thing icky, men who wish to seem woke, women who defer, and women who want to keep their seats. And look at the posdibles: none is female and none has ever shown the slightest concern for women's sex based rights.

What I forgot to say in my original post about the tin-foil-hattery, which has been alluded too, is that all of these TRAs in different positions in different organisations all seem to have far more loyalty to TRAs than to their organisations.
