Thats my interpretation of this by them:

What they have done is take the Daily Mail, Sarah Vine (Michael Goves other half) and conflated these with anyone who questions people with penises being allowed into kids changing rooms at school without any question.

They take an unquestioning view of Trans ideology and say they are standing together with Trans People. They have allowed people to reference to TERFS with no intervention.

Of course the Daily Mail is vile.

But it is really dangerous to conflate as they have. And especially coming from an organisation called Stop Funding Hate

I wrote to them with a copy of Jonathan Bests article asking them to read it. I also pointed out how lesbians were being targetted and threatened and how their article may contribute to this. I of course have not received any reply.

I second that, Reluctant Camper, even if I'm still no fan of Sarah Vine and, like other posters, suspect that she wrote that article for entirely opportunistic reasons.

I'm learning a lot from all this nonsense, and one major things is that it's really important that anyone who isn't actually inciting violence is free to express their opinion.

I don't like the daily mail. when i occasionally glance at it at PILs I find it fucking depressing.

but i'm glad it's there, expressing opinions that don't get aired elsewhere

i used to support stop funding hate isn't it funny how your views change?

They can't even identify what it is that they object to.

If you object to something, then articulate what it is exactly that you are objecting to.

Ah yes, the one where they call up a pile-on to pressurise a newspaper's advertisers, because they don't like what was printed.

At least Mary Whitehouse used to write letters and argue her case.

OP I agree. I used to be a supporter of Stop Funding Hate but the stuff they've put out there about this has made me so angry. There was absolutely nothing hateful in that article and the implication that even suggesting that girls have a point of view or rights worth considering on this issue is somehow hateful/bigoted is just despicable misogyny. I've seen comments on social media and it makes me despair how big the divide is on this issue.

of course the daily mail is vile

Really?

Tell that to Doreen Lawrence
