This issue has really cemented the fact that no political party believes that women are full human beings with as much right to autonomy and self-direction as any man.

Copied from the AIBU thread.

I seems to me the BBC also view us as above and I think we should start a campaign about this issue above.

How can we persuade the BBC to balance the bias against females so far?

They have given a propoghanda Question time to Paris Less, and I would like to see the same now given to us just as they did Paris. To have Julia Long, Julia Hartley Brewer, Nick Robinson on the panel to name a few.

fuzzy feelings and garment preferences.

Best description ever.

Every single one of the main parties subscribes to the view that Transfemme men are women. All party leaders have trumpeted support for self-id. They are untroubled by the consequences of enacting 'gender identity' as a protected characterisitc, instead of 'gender reassignment'.

In that respect, the Conservative, Liberal Democrat, Labour, and Green parties, as well as Plaid, and SNP, do not speak for me.

Add Janice Turner and James Kirkup on the Question time special to correct previous BBC bias.

Now for political representation. I am thinking Caroline flint. Let the Liberal Democrats put up Sarah Brown if they dare.

Well the parties certainly don't care enough about women as a group to think it important that 'woman' as a category merits clear description and boundaries, and not a collection of fuzzy feelings and garment preferences.
