A violent man repeatedly referred to as “she” throughout his trial by judge and lawyers who you would reasonably expect to have some basic common sense and appreciation of the importance of facts and the existence of material reality. Doing his time in a women’s prison, with no thought or care whatsoever for the impact of that on the women in the prison, many of whom are vulnerable and will have experienced violence in their own lives.

I wonder what "undergoing gender re-assignment" actually means in this case. Isn't the argument that once undergoing reassignment, male transpeople lose strength and become less agressive and therefore safer than men to be around? It looks that this is not the case here.
