Jean, if you are reading, my heart goes out to you. I have no words that can comfort you but I will support you as long as possible.

@sociopathsunited you should have a look at jean's blog... if it's not linked here then google it. Jean is a remarkable, remarkable woman.

Flowers jean. All of the very best wishes.

JuneOsbourne · 06/08/2018 16:45

I'm so sorry to hear this Jean and am sending every best wish your way. Thank you for everything you do for women Flowers

sociopathsunited · 06/08/2018 16:21

This is the first time I've heard of Jean (fairly new here) and I don't know you at all, but I am truly truly sorry that you've had such a devastating diagnosis. I wish you all the luck and love in the world..

Flowers Jean - hoping the biopsy gives the best results it can. Thank you for your rides.

OrchidInTheSun · 06/08/2018 10:10

Yes hope the biopsy goes well and that you're in and out quickly ThanksThanksThanks

WhereDoWeBeginToCovetClarice · 06/08/2018 09:57

Good luck with your biopsy today Jean. Sending you strength through this and your treatments ahead.

Try not to dwell on that comment up thread. You have a lot of people thinking positive for you - let that wrap you up like a safety blanket.

I'm so sorry you had to read that Jean.

However, LaSquirrel was quite clearly not posting from any position of knowledge, so please just try to ignore it Flowers

NettleTea · 06/08/2018 09:19

I was just coming on to say WTF about that post.

Seriously insensitive of you to try to show off about your wonderful knowledge whilst not comprehending for one moment that Jean might be reading, or Jean's friends might be reading

Why the fuck would you even do that?

What the hell is the matter with you?

Did you consider her daughter might be reading too?

I never call people on their posts, but this is just too much. I too hope you get a ban.

OrchidInTheSun · 06/08/2018 09:05

Bloody hell LaSquirrel what a breathtakingly stupidly cruel post.

I've also reported. I hope you get a ban for that, truly. You don't deserve the internet

Jeanhatchet · 06/08/2018 08:56

@LaSquirrel thanks so much for telling me I'm going to die. Really absolutely outstanding of you.

BoreOfWhabylon · 05/08/2018 21:12

@LaSquirrel I've reported your post and asked MNHQ to remove it. It's inappropriate to speculate about how advanced her cancer is, and what her treatment and prognosis might be, especially by someone who is not a Health Care Professional.

I assume you are not a HCP because no responsible HCP would make such a post.

parklives · 05/08/2018 17:46

First time I've heard of Jean and her amazing project. I will donate later and wish her and hers all the best. Cancer is a fucker, life is difficult and beautiful, thank god for women like Jean.

ChattyLion · 05/08/2018 09:38

Oh Jean so sorry to hear this. Wishing you strength and peace. Flowers
You have already given women so much with your advocacy. Hope that you can feel supported by the care and thoughts of all the women supporting you and thinking of you on here.

SuburbanRhonda · 05/08/2018 08:15

Jean, I’m so sorry to hear this. We are incredibly proud of the work you do and have done for women. You’re an inspiration.

You are an inspiration to women everywhere Jean.
All the best for the road ahead.

BingBongSong · 04/08/2018 22:40

Wishing you strength in your fight, Jean. You've been an inspiration to me since the Ched Evans stuff and the work you do to raise awareness for the women murdered at the hands of their family and partners has opened many people's eyes.

Flowers for you x.

RIP Samanth Eastwood. Sadly this is probably an appropriate thread to mention her.
