Very interesting twitter thread on this;

OP posts:
CompleteGinasaur · 27/01/2022 01:49

Wasn't there a thread on here about Allyn Walker when all that was kicking off?

Enough4me · 27/01/2022 01:49

It's crazy. How can MAP ever be acceptable, surely treatment is needed and prison if it's acted upon through porn or physical abuse?

AutomaticMoon · 27/01/2022 01:35

@ScreamingMeMe TY I’ve been already in arguments on Twitter over Allyn Walker, who advocated the use of ‘child porn’ as treatment for pedophiles. This university professor Craig Harper was defending him without even knowing the full facts, Harper campaigns for MAP acceptance too.

AutomaticMoon · 27/01/2022 01:33

I just posted a lot of links relevant to this but on AIBU it’s titled Kinsey (tw:csa)

TheBeardedVulture · 26/01/2022 23:04

It’s worth reviving the zombie threads from time to time because it brings the information and discussion to new users who might not have been here the first time round.

RepentMotherfucker · 26/01/2022 22:31

Can we not revive zombies? This is three years old and there have been more recent relevant threads. Or start a new one.

ScreamingMeMe · 26/01/2022 22:28

There was also this recently:

"Professor placed on leave after saying paedophiles should be destigmatised"

One of the biggest issues with self ID in it's proposed form as I keep pointing out to my very pointless MP, is precedent. If a person is of the opposite sex because they say they feel they are - no other proof necessary - and can therefore access all provisions for that sex in spite of the severity of the impact on other uses of that sex - then how do you argue with a fifty year old man who says he identifies as six years old and is entitled to attend an afterschool club, and go away to camp with the Brownies? If a passport can be changed to reflect personal choice rather than fact, how will public bodies deal with someone who identifies as severely disabled and would like 'equality' of access to a car for the disabled for their wheelchair, carers and disability benefit?

Exactly, it's such an obvious natural progression. I wonder if I can get my pension now if I identify as 67 years old? If not why not?

AutomaticMoon · 26/01/2022 21:30

Hey sorry to revive a zombie thread but there is a pedophilia re-branding and normalising campaign. Have you seen the TED talks about how we must have compassion for pedophiles and that they ‘offend’ because we stigmatise them... Twitter allows them to openly discuss sex with children as long as they don’t glamourise it. This is supported bu a university professor who campaigned for this to be allowed, he wrote an article for psychology.com, he also is working on re-branding them as Minor Attracted Persons.

Mainstream media wrote about ‘virtuous pedophiles’ and academia supporting them, I have many links.

The criminality goes all the way back to Kinsey who was a sadomasochistic porn addict and his ‘research’ was shown to be fraudulent and criminal by Judith Reisman decades ago but nobody really wanted to hear it.

Kinsey wrote, “It is difficult to understand why a child, except for its cultural conditioning, should be disturbed at having its genitalia touched . . . or disturbed at even more specific sexual contacts . . . [T]he emotional reactions of the parents, police officers, and other adults who discover that the child has had such a contact, may disturb the child more seriously than the sexual contacts themselves.”

Here Reisman describes how predators can gain access to children if they identify as opposite gender and the sexual abuse of children being framed as research:

LaSquirrel · 31/07/2018 21:22

A large part of the campaign against self-ID revolves around perverts supposedly queuing up to gain access to women's spaces, trans people supposedly trying to force lesbians into sex etc.

I'll bite. The Cotton Ceiling (which is at its core, a manifesto to 'break down the barriers of lesbians so they have sex with ladycock'), lesbians being erased both in history and today, lesbians being 'redefined' as "anyone who identifies as a lesbian", eight lesbians chastised because they dared highlight how misogynist the LGBT/Pride really is.

Damned right I am "anti-self-ID". Go away coloniser.

DJLippy · 28/07/2018 22:07

For those who think the pedophile plan is a joke and that nobody wants to normalise pedophillia - just look at the way the Guardian talks about migrant children 'selling sex.' Kids don't sell sex they're raped.

Very interesting article here. It's written by a conservative news outlet but the allegations are very serious. When feminists support 'youth sex work' you have to ask some tough questions.

No civil rights movement has ever been imposed top down against the opposition of grass roots either ...

Knicknackpaddyflak · 28/07/2018 18:41

no civil rights movement ever has focused entirely on children, lesbians, and women harmed by male violence as the front line of their oppression

That's a powerful and very thought provoking statement. Well put.

lisamuggeridge · 28/07/2018 15:07

Do not describe what is happening in front of you because there will be consequences if you do...hmmm...

lisamuggeridge · 28/07/2018 15:06

It would be downright hateful to point out that no civil rights movement ever has focused entirely on children, lesbians, women harmed by male violence as the front line of their oppression nad needed safeguarding and protections for women and kids against violence and sexual violence removed and demanding the most vulnerable in our society be made vulnerable to harm cos anything else injures your identity...downright hateful...

lisamuggeridge · 28/07/2018 15:04

A movement where the demands are- women'sperception must be subordinated, women must not allowed to be identify dissonance between behaviour and identity, children must be taught to doubt material reality, children must be taught that their gender identity is an internal thing, their sex is not and to defer to adults with no connection to them on this and their fmilies are to be deemed abusive if they object, discussing safeguarding systems is hate speech, women who discuss their responsibilities to manage abusive behaviour and its risk are nazis and must be threatened, doxxed, intimidated, punched, and if anyone discusses the systems impacted by austerity and their links to male violence they are due the same? This is all backed up by academic disciplines from elite institutions, dying political publicatins and political parties who dont want to recognise these systems? By the lesbians are no longer welcome in LGBT unless they accept sexually abusive behaviour from males as womanhood. Yeah thats like every civil rights movement i've heard of...

Knicknackpaddyflak · 28/07/2018 14:13

Yup, nailed it Bum

But then being born with xx chromosomes = lesser beings existing to facilitate and service xy people (who ought to be bashed/raped/killed/deprived of a voice for failing to do it properly or sufficiently enthusiastically) is the root of transgender ideology.

Bumbungo · 28/07/2018 12:49

If you are aware of male violence and deliberately provide them with exactly the one-sided information to bring forth a violent response then you are complicit in their violence.

And.... there it is. All of those rules of misogyny combined in one neat sentence.

Datun · 28/07/2018 12:10

"If you are aware of male violence and deliberately provide them with exactly the one-sided information to bring forth a violent response then you are complicit in their violence"

A thousand times no.

It's really, really disturbing that people campaigning for men to have access to women and children, purely on their say so, think this.

MillyTheKid
If you go around spreading lies about a group of people, then you take some responsibility for the negative reaction that brings forth, whether it's verbal or physical.

Which "lies" are you referring to here?

Bowlofbabelfish · 28/07/2018 10:58

Three ponds, all three open to men, and none where women can swim safely.

Datun · 28/07/2018 10:47

milly

Quite apart from it being victim blaming nonsense, you've just made that whole thing up. What the poster actually said was:

"I have broached various issues raised by the TRA movement. The almost unilateral response was that men abusing this, or perceived to be abusing self id to gain access to their female relatives, will get their heads kicked in."

No lies were spread.

LangCleg · 28/07/2018 10:43

How do you think that's going to end?

Not well.

Ever feel like you're banging your head against a brick wall?
