Southall has been given a long overdue virtual kicking by his followers (15 Aug).

He intended to hand over the reins of his account to a person catering for a particular fetish (ie role playing as babies and small children to a "mummy"). There was uproar as followers pointed out the risks not only to his reputation but of triggering memories in those who had suffered child abuse.

He's pulled the stunt, but I think he has gone back to being seen as "an attention seeking, pliable half wit".

This Harrop person is so dangerous. He is an absolute enemy of women. I can't stand the thought of this revolting creep being anywhere near women, participating those who are vulnerable.

Hes making things worse by going it wasnt me stop bullying me. It legally doesnt matter who wrote it came from his personal account and handing over his personal account is a dumass thing to do, let alone to a group of people that are likely to have such strong views.

I grew up with him and his brother , am sure if you approach him nicely , he will allow you to use his twiiter account too,

I was reading through the supportive posts defending his accusations of others' bullying and cowardice. Even a couple saying "you wouldn't dare say that to big Nev IRL' Why? Would that woman be taught a lesson for calling him out?

He has supported bullying by not owning this and saying he's just on hol "it wasn't me guv. Now where's my Sangria and soda"and let Skepticat open to more attacks .

The absurdity. Any other group (i.e. not women) who suffered such violence at Speakers Corner would be extended the hand of moral decency, but Nev's loyal followers are adament the victim is the offender!

Sounds like a good way to say all manner of unconscionable thing, then hand off the blame to some anonymous "activist".

I would donate to a crowd funder too. However, I think that we ought to wait for the "right" defendant. Look at the comments under the Guardian article, Southall is still a hero to many. He works in a school for disabled children etc, etc.
