Sorry I am seething. Just watched SC give a talk at HoC on Women in Politics - What next. All pretty unremarkable but at the end she says she recognises her privilege as a middle class woman and as a 'cis' woman.
Does she not realise that she has just declared the 'privilege' of every single woman who isnt trans. Nice one.

Stella Creasy's privilege doesn't come from being a woman but from being white, educated and middle class.

How many middle class women does she think are in prison?

Self-ID means a convicted male intact rapist could be in their prison saying he's female. How much cis privilege is that?

Never going to happen to Stella Creasy though is it.

Stella is a completely lost cause on this. A woman who can respond to the mother of an 11-year-old daughter who was wanked at in her school changing room with peer-on-peer assault will never get it. Stella deliberately doesn't get it. She is not misguided.

Such a shame Stella buys into this trans ideology and uses phrases like 'cis privilege' because on all other counts she is definitely the sort of MP we want in parliament imo.

Perhaps there is mileage in some of the groups springing up, such as WPUK or WNTT requesting meetings with female MPs to try and explain our position calmly.
