I buy some hair dye can I be transginger?

I'll protest!

Datun · 23/07/2018 23:12

Interesting tidbit of WOMEN'S BIOLOGY here to unite the subjects: progesterone can slow digestion

Ahh. Does this account for the menstruation shits?

And if I remember correctly, there was a massively long thread on here last year about why men take so long in the loo.

I believe the general feeling was it something to do with the prostate? And men taking a shit being a rather more pleasant experience than it is for women?

Personally, I believe it's the avoidance tactic theory, myself. No shit takes that long.

bowl does this mean you're going to be posting less in a few weeks?

Noooooooo 😱

Bumbungo · 23/07/2018 23:12

transginger

ROLFL

LangCleg · 23/07/2018 23:08

I love my slow cooker. I roast rats in it.

What's the blue hair percentage?

AngryAttackKittens · 23/07/2018 22:58

Don't think we've ever actually used the slow cooker that we got as a wedding gift, it must have an entire colony of spiders nesting in it by now.

LangCleg · 23/07/2018 22:58

Also, I have an old lady hair growing out of my upper lip (which I keep forgetting to tweezer off). Beat that!

LangCleg · 23/07/2018 22:56

I do have a large Le Creuset pot, does that count as a cauldron?

Now that's just showing off. I've got a slow cooker. Because I'm extra super-duper evil and like to drag things out.

Bespin · 23/07/2018 22:56

LangCleg and yet here we are going over and over the same stuff time and time again. I know it's Truely something int it. anyway have a lovely evening all.

AngryAttackKittens · 23/07/2018 22:53

It's divination, innit? Presumably our cats are involved somehow.

(I do have a large Le Creuset pot, does that count as a cauldron?)

AngryAttackKittens · 23/07/2018 22:53

Mostly laughing at the irony of the comment about lived experiences, honestly, Lang.

LangCleg · 23/07/2018 22:52

Who could have predicted these shocking results?

A tiny minority of evil witches with links to the US fundies?

LangCleg · 23/07/2018 22:51

there is no point even replying to this stuff

And yet...

Bespin · 23/07/2018 22:43

wow I really have to wonder why you think that people would believe its like that. that we would not have had many of these same experiances that you think show the reality of being in a toilet in say a bar or a nightclub. we have all had those experiances. also in many gay venues you can have a door, a toilet seat and toilet paper but you don't get all three if your lucky you get one.
sometimes I do wonder if you beleive we actually live in the same world or do anything that other people actually do. I have on more that a few occasions been part of helping a young woman who was far. to drunk get herself together enough that she could get home safely, something that often starts in the toilet while a man waits outside for her. there is no point even replying to this stuff if you are just going to assume you know what we do or about our lived experiances

AngryAttackKittens · 23/07/2018 22:42

Most people don't think that it's possible to change sex, that women have cocks, or that said ladycocks should be in changing rooms with little girls. Who could have predicted these shocking results?

LangCleg · 23/07/2018 22:33

Is Pink News any more palatable?

Haha! Nope!

But the reputation isn't relevant for the commissioner of the poll: it's relevant for the company carrying out the polling.

So far, two reputable polling companies have tested self-ID - Panelbase and YouGov - and neither result makes great reading for transactivism.

ItsAllGoingToBeFine · 23/07/2018 22:20

Unfortunately, I can't abide wings over scotland

Is Pink News any more palatable?

The research by YouGov for PinkNews also revealed that only 18 percent of all voters agree with government plans to let transgender people change their legal gender without a doctor’s approval.

LangCleg · 23/07/2018 22:15

Sorry for moaning.

You're not moaning, you daftie!

VickyEadie · 23/07/2018 21:19

If you have to SAY it's not mansplaining. It's mansplaining.

A man (not a friend) once wandered on to a thread I started on Facebook and spent a considerable amount of time telling me I was wrong about something that had happened to me.

When I eventually had had enough and told him he was mansplaining, he said "I don't know why you're arguing with me..."

On my thread. About my experience.

ElenOfTheWays · 23/07/2018 21:15

thebewilderness · 23/07/2018 20:59

Newbie.
I disagree with the legal definition and gave reasoning and evidence to suggest many other people disagree with it too. This isn't mansplaining, it's a discussion.

This is perhaps the most precious thing a TRA/MRA has ever said, and they say it so effing often.
They disagree with the definition of rape, and woman, and man, and sex, and the number of words all the little humpty dumpties disagree with the definitions of are expanding daily because it is always only about obedience. Always.

VickyEadie · 23/07/2018 20:49

Never, ever been asked for tampons, opinion on appearance, etc by strangers in women's toilets in my many years using them.

AngryAttackKittens · 23/07/2018 20:46

One time one poor girl managed to piss herself, slip and fall, and hit her head on the way down, and friend and I found her lying on the not very clean floor moaning. Super sexy and mega frilly and feminine, eh?

Of course we helped her, because female socialization and empathy. Would have been a bit concerned for what might have happened if males were able to come upon her in that state.

SophoclesTheFox · 23/07/2018 20:45

Shush! Get back in your baby doll nighties and lend me a lipstick!

None of this stuff is visible to the male gaze - wrecked pelvises, uncontrollable bleeding, vomiting. So the identity with a large component of the male gaze it in doesn't register this stuff.

I have IBD. What I am mostly doing in the loo is shitting, waiting for shitting to be over, wondering if shitting is going to happen again, and on a very rare occasion, cleaning up after unexpected shitting. So very, very glamourous and feminine Grin

I'm not doing my makeup, lending tampons and gossipping.
