How does he reconcile this with being a wealthy author from a wealthy priviledged background who charges for others to listen to his grand ideology about the abolition of class as a barrier to economic freedom and equality.

Oh yes, he changes the definition of what it is to be oppressed, rewrites his own history so he can self identify as working class and in no way does he have capitalist classic liberal tendancies.

Honest, comrades.

I think I might give this one a miss. Its a circle jerk for his ego, where anyone who might have vaguely interesting or challenging opinions will be absent because of Owen's general support for mob mentality populism.

I grew up in the area where LOJ went to school.
99.99% of them would be bloody horrified to know that because OJ says so they are now in a working class area.

I'm still boggling at the idea that there are enough people willing to pay 12 quid to listen to Sanctimonious Morph to make putting on an event worthwhile. Surely a curry would be a better investment.

Trouble is, I certainly agree with his take on some things. But the authoritarian refusal to even listen to women about their rights, and worse, the hypocrisy of the whole women must consider cock, but ask me to consider vagina and it's pure wickedness, just undercuts everything of worth that he has to say.
