He went.

Teacher said emm trousers. Chad said I Chad. With a K.

Teacher said I should send you to headmaster.

Chad. With a K. Said go ahead. What’s he going to do to me?

Teacher sighed.

They did the thing Chad was there for.

Chad came home.

Chad said to tell you all his only regret is that he didn’t think of it sooner because it’s “a bit pointless at this stage”.

So a bit of an anticlimax really.

Definitely not pointless. Completely awesome. I would never have had the forethought or guts to do anything like that especially not as a teenager (my teenage rebellions were fairly pathetic). It’s an incredibly smart and brave thing to do.

Ereshkigal · 18/07/2018 21:20

Tell Kchad it wasn't pointless and he should feel proud to have taken a stand. If more people did the same, we wouldn't have to take so much crap& nonsense. Well done him!

This. Well done to Chad with a K x

RaininSummer · 18/07/2018 21:09

Well done Khad x

AwkwardSquad · 18/07/2018 21:07

Another Margaret Mead quote for Kchad:

We may say that many, if not all, of the personality traits which we have called masculine or feminine are as lightly linked to sex as are the clothing, the manners, and the form of headdress that a society at a given period assigns to either sex.

p. 280, cited in Perspectives in Cultural Anthropology (1987) by Herbert A. Applebaum, p. 141

Kchad is destined for great things.
Zer courage will take zer wherever ze wants to go.

Awesome trouser-wearing noncompliant offspring of your non binary uterus that ze is.

littlbrowndog · 18/07/2018 20:59

Great job khad 😎😎

When one has the courage to stand up for women's rights it encourages others to have the courage to stand up for women's rights.

“Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed, organized citizens can change the world; indeed, it’s the only thing that ever has.”

Margaret Mead

I couldn’t be more proud. She will never be the brightest or get the highest grades but she did something truly awesome today.

You’re all so kind. I know it is a bit frivolous and inconsequential and I appreciate the support. As does Kchad.

Is she Kchad with a silent K?

Pointless? Well, at least Kchad has the dubious honour of being the only ks4 leaver with their own MN fan club.Grin

Yes good on him! The fact she went through with it is what matters - I hope she takes that confidence with her to where ever she goes next!
