Is FWR anti feminist?

I am risking a ban here, but I feel I need to post this.

As we all know the new guidelines were rolled out and we asked if the 3 strikes policy would be across the board, Justine replied and I've screenshotted her reply below.

Yesterday I was part of a particularly nasty thread where one poster was deleted numerous times for openly racist comments towards the Irish.

I reported the posts and asked if the 3 strikes stance would be taken, as per New guidelines.

The reply was no and the email has been attached.

So. There we have it. Racism is ok on MN. Biology and correct use of the English language is not.

I'm not shocked as it seemed obvious to me that it would only apply to posters on FWR..AIBU would be shut down in about 2 minutes if similar draconian measures were implemented there.

Yes, there were 5 racist posts from that poster on one thread. He/she continued even after being called out by loads of people. (Is this going to be deleted as a TAAT)? Maybe we can find other examples from other threads, so it's about the principle, rather than that one in particular?

I actually wasn't aware of the new TG because I haven't been on here much for a few months. (Though I learned about them - in a helpful way - from someone at HQ last night). But surely 3-strikes-in-close-succession-and-out should be uniformly applied? Confused

Shock Why are you more worried about offending transactivists than anyone else, HQ????

Why must women standing up for ourselves & discussing our rights be policed more heavily than racists?

Daily mail 👋 you want to lift a story, here’s one.

Seriously are you on twitter, can you tweet the times with this because this is fucking batshit! You can offend who you like as long as it’s not a white man with status!

RepeatAfterUs · 14/07/2018 18:45

Pathetic! They are under pressure from someone. Maybe she's hoping to sell MNet to someone? Are some of their advertisers people with some vested interest in trans-critical things not being posted. EG. affiliated with drugs companies who stand to make a lot of money out of kids being put on life-long medications?

I'm living in England now a long time but am a Northern Irish atheist from a prod background. And I've also been called a terrorist and had the "funny" jokes aimed at me.

Amalfimamma · 14/07/2018 18:38

Glad I'm not the only one to have been under that impression.

Apparently we're wrong or have been lied to

Thanks Amalfi.

I too thought it was across the board, not just in FWR/on trans issues.

Rufustheyawningreindeer · 14/07/2018 18:33

Thats dreadful amal

I was certainly under the impression that it would be rolled out across the boards
