Stamping dissent out is such a neutral, fair minded concept, isn't it? Coupled with the imperative clause and the creepy blade-runner-esque lighting effects, it's all very effective in demonstrating that the majority of bolshy-minded British people really don't believe these authoritarian numbskulls so they need to employ this sort of dystopian weirdness to enforce conformity.
