I can't knit (well I can in a very basic sense, but am very slow and don't have the commitment to complete an arm of a cardi, let alone a whole one)

I am post-menopausal but this was surgical menopause following total hysterectomy for gyny cancer.

Not much is discussed about younger women with this diagnosis. Just want to be sure if the 'older women' issue is a chronological determinant or should younger women with hystectomies be other-identified into this group?

Why does Owen Jones keep framing himself as a young person? He is 33, hardly fresh out of sixth form. He’s 2 years younger than me.

I know as many GC people under 30 than over.

I have my mammograms done in a mobile unit, and there's no men or children allowed in it. Everyone has been on their own when I've attended.
I just can't imagine what kind of man thinks he should be allowed in a breast screening area (other than an appointment for himself). Oh wait, yes I can imagine ...

thanks for the flowers. Im better now, it took a long time and getting charity funding for non NHS treatment. Shame I shoulda self ID as a man, that woulda sorted it.

Speaking as someone who came out of the screening, diagnosed with cancer I would like to apologise to "DR" L that I was not thinking about the poor men who were not allowed in the waiting area. Jesus what a selfish bitch I am.

BTW my male friend how came with me, waited patiently in the reception area and guess what, he was OK, yes take heart, many have been there too and survived.
