Has Pink News claimed that she said it in order to put her in an impossible position?

Is this merely a tactic to put women on the back foot?

I sincerely hope she didn't because that would be extremely sinister, instead of only slightly less sinister fake news from PN.

Interesting. I couldn't see it in the article. Is this like that Buzzfeed article some months ago announcing Labour's position on AWS before they had. Being ahead of the game, as it were, to influence the outcome?
Or am I being paranoid?!
