The hypocritical part was I required to explain my only wearing "stereotypically female clothing" because you can't "get your head round it"

I didn't ask you to explain your preference for what I assume is "stereotypically masculine clothes"

AngryAttackKittens · 30/06/2018 12:19

I tripped over that question too because, OK, they probably think toy guys, swords etc "belong" to boys, but what about if it was my toy on account of my parents bought it for me?

SuperDandy · 30/06/2018 12:19

NotMeOhNo "It's a clear recruitment tactic to the cult."

You might not have noticed that there are about 200 other tests available in that site. Every single one of them will lead to the same ridiculous conclusion that you really need to see a therapist because you are at risk of

This is because it is a scammer site, to get money from gullible people by hitting whatever weak spot they can get leverage on.

So no, it's not a recruitment tactic to the cult, whatever cult you might mean.

These websites are built by vultures preying on the vulnerable to part them from their money by persuading them they need the counselling equivalent of snake oil. They are a bad thing and should be shut down. If it were a U.K. site I'd probably out in a complaint somewhere appropriate because I hate this shit.

They are not, however, some scary attempt to get all the vulnerable people to hit the medical transition trail.

OvaHere · 30/06/2018 12:17

Another medium to high risk here. Not sure how.

Such ridiculous questions, things like 'toys that belong to the opposite sex' toys belong to the person that owns them nothing to do with sex.

Gendering toys is ridiculous, I feel like everyone knew this a few short years ago but now suddenly we have collectively forgotten.

I did tend to favour dolls etc.. as a child but my sister had a huge collection of play garages, cars and lego. Funnily enough we both still grew up to be women, become mothers etc...

AornisHades · 30/06/2018 11:59

Lass, hypocritical? How? If I had said "I only wear..." then yes I would have been. But I didn't.

PositivelyPERF · 30/06/2018 09:57

Right, according to my results I’m actually so close to being a man I can actually feel a weird tingle in my pants, as my DNA changes. Nope, sorry, false alarm. It was just wind. Still a woman.

Bespin · 30/06/2018 09:46

In other importent tests, which game of thrones character is everyone. I'm ayra stark which I think sums me up pritty well. Lol

sashh · 30/06/2018 09:25

Apparently I am medium to high risk.

megletthesecond · 30/06/2018 09:14

Medium to high here too.
And I'm off to the tip shortly. I like the tip so I must be a bloke.

MajesticWhine · 30/06/2018 09:01

Medium risk here. I do like manspreading on the tube / bus. That'll be why. 😂

AngryAttackKittens · 30/06/2018 08:46

I think I may have skewed my results by not interpreting the clothes of the opposite sex questions the way they were intended. To me that would mean, like, jock straps? Maybe tighty whities? The idea that they might mean trousers here in the 21st century did occur to me, but I dismissed it as too silly.

groundcontroltomontydon · 30/06/2018 08:45

Well when playing Monopoly I always wanted to be the top hat so sign me up for a lifetime's supply of snake oilHmm

FlyTipper · 30/06/2018 08:40

Question 7 is a shit question. Mannerisms of the opposite sex? Women flick their hair, men growl and flex muscles? What the hell is that meant to mean? What about: walking about the place....urm like a human being? Radical!

Bespin · 30/06/2018 08:36

Your certainly down with the kids lol

thebewilderness · 30/06/2018 08:32

Cool story, bro.

I speak for no one but myself lef, and I'm sorry you think that providing support on other threads for things I find wrong is not something you approve of.

R0wantrees · 30/06/2018 08:15

James Kirkup's article Why are some MPs trying to shut down the transgender debate?

"[MP Stephen] Doughty said. “Do you think the use of the phrase “trans lobby” is an appropriate one?”

As it happens, Dr Carmichael (GIDS) in her lecture said some things that seem relevant here:

“Gender has become amazingly topical and we have to be really careful not to assume that anyone is exploring or questioning their gender is going to want to change their bodies in line with that. The extremes on either side are not helpful. We need to look at the grey areas in between. To do that we need to be able to talk and discuss these issues. All too often stakeholders become lobby groups.”

She did not name any stakeholder. But her words might be relevant to a charity called Mermaids. Mermaids is a charity that describes itself as “a support group for children and young people with gender dysphoria and their families”. Its CEO, Susie Green describes herself as “parent to a daughter who was born male.” Mermaids is a relatively small charity (it had income of £127,000 in the year to March 2017) with a big reach. It has prominent backers and its advice and recommendations have been absorbed and adopted by many public bodies.... "(continues)

thebewilderness · 30/06/2018 07:51

I know what the transgender lobbying groups are and so do you.
You are on the other thread kicking women while they are down, and here you speak for the "trans community".
I see you.

Bespin · 30/06/2018 07:44

No your right there will remind.you of that next time people say we are a powerful lobbing group. But on the trans forums and groups that reflect our community they have been debated for years and most organisations would never condone them or thing they are worth anything

thebewilderness · 30/06/2018 07:39

Bespin, there is no official "trans community" to denounce these internet games.

Writersblock2 · 30/06/2018 07:29

High risk and I didn’t say yes to anything about wanting surgery or hating my genitals etc. What a load of shit. Society is wrong, not me.

Bespin · 30/06/2018 06:57

Just again for a point of clarity for years tests like this have been denounced by the trans community they are not helpful and have often had the adverse effect of people not being seen to be trans enough. There were some people that used to put great faith in the COGIATI test way back when and that's a load of shite too and did a lot of harm to people who questioned how they felt based on a test and didn't get the help they needed.

thebewilderness · 30/06/2018 03:51

I hate pants that hit you at the hips instead of the waist and I am disgusted that they have been practically the only style of pant available twice in my life. TWICE!
I get these great rayon pants from Dharma that have pockets and are baggy and come up to my waist. Mostly I get the black ones but sometimes I dye the white ones. I just add leggins under them if it gets cold. I wear loose dresses that hang from my shoulders when I am at home all year round but they are essential in summer.
I never wear other people's clothes.
I am so glad we changed the subject from that silly questionaire to what we like to wear.
Two boys were sent home from school today for wearing skirts because they identified as boys cuz yanno they were boys but skirts are comfy in summer.

GorgonLondon · 30/06/2018 03:48

I got medium to high riskHmm
I don't have gender identity disorder.

LassWiADelicateAir · 30/06/2018 03:38

thebewilderness

Everyone is transgender and they can prove it with this simple test!

Indeed. That was the point I was making - even someone like me who has never been unhappy with her female body, enjoys dressing up and is very comfortable with femininity didn't get an all clear.
