I don't see how they could possibly say no. The Minister for Women refusing to have even a webchat with Mumsnet about law changes that particularly affect women and girls would look ridiculous. How can they turn it down?

Yes, good idea. A way to be sure of bringing the idea to MNHQ's attention would be for the OP to report the opening post and ask them to consider it. (Report button isn't only for negative feedback, eg it's how you nominate a thread for Classics)
